Secret Diary of Call Girl’s Billie Piper and her husband Laurence Fox are the proud parents of their second child together. Fox Tweeted the happy news on Thursday and said, “One born every minute. We had our minute today. Couldn’t be happier. Beautiful boy. Everything fine.” I think that is the best birth announcement I ever read, that I might steal it for when I finally have my demon offspring.
The proud parents also have a three year old son named Winston, who I am sure is enjoying being a big brother.

The Miramar Hotel is the hottest spot in Miami and Ike Evans (Jeffrey Dean Morgan – a role he was born to play) is running the joint. While everything seems beautiful on the outside, things inside are a much different story. Mobster Ben Diamond (Danny Huston) is back in town and he wants control of the hotel, but Evans isn’t willing to give him everything he wants. This probably isn’t a good decision on his part because Diamond is crazy and has no regards for life and will kill anything and anyone that crosses his path the wrong way.
Besides dealing with Diamond, Evans has to do deal with his wife, two grown up sons, a coming of age daughter, Cuban workers with family stuck in their native land trying to get out, the union wanting the hotel unionized and people suddenly going missing. Will he be able to manage all of that like he manages the hotel? You will have to tune to find out in this retro drama that is filled with sex, booze and blood. Just like Miami was and always will be behind the glitz of it all.

Amanda Bynes is having a really bad month with her car and cops. About a month ago the All That star was pulled over by the cops and as he was writing the ticket she drove away. Later on that day she went to the police station and explained what happened. That was shocking but not as bad as what happened to her this morning at 3a. According to TMZ she was arrested on suspicion of DUI after trying to pass a cop car that was attempting to make a right turn. They added that when the cop pulled her over, he determined that she was not fit to drive and took her.
Bynes was held on $5,000 bail until being released late in the morning.
I have a feeling she will be in rehab after the holiday weekend.
Sofia Vergara was on Late Night yesterday and the Modern Family beauty made fun of the way Jimmy Fallon said something in Spanish. So the NBC late night host asked her to do an American accent and she said she couldn’t. But he was insistent and asked her to say “Howdy partner” like a Southerner. Well she gave in and the way she did it was the cutest way I ever heard someone do a Southern accent. I lived in the South for a few years, and I never heard anyone sound as awwwwdorable as she did when they talked.
