Before Christa Miller was best friends with Jules on Cougar Town, she was best friends with Haven on Kate & Allie. Like OMG how like totally cute was the 24 year old actress in that 1988 episode.
The new trailer is out for Miley Cyrus’ movie LOL and I actually fell asleep watching it. I love cheesy movies about teenage love, but that film looks boring I would only want to watch it to cure my insomnia. Oh crap I think I will buy the DVD as soon as comes out because I need it.
Lifetime is getting back in the dating pool with Love for Sail tonight at 10p and I think it might be there best one yet. Each week four women set sail on the high seas and take a Norwegian Cruise to find love. When the women come on aboard they go to a mixer and meet their suitors. Once they have met their match they go on a date with him. If they like their choice they get a second date, if not they pick a new man. Hopefully when the cruise ends, so will their search for the perfect mate.
I know that sounds like a lot of other dating shows, but these women are also competing among each other for their dream date and they will do anything to have him. Including throwing their competition overboard. OK I am joking about the last part…or am I?
Tune in for a reality show that doesn’t make you want to walk the plank.
James Van Der Beek will be playing a role that is very difficult for him starting tomorrow on the sitcom Don’t Trust the B in Apt 23, he will be playing himself. Well since the show is debuting tomorrow, he has to do a lot press for it and one of his stops was Jimmy Kimmel Live. While he was there, Dawson Learey told the ABC late night host the different stages of fame. The first stage is when people recognize you, but don’t know from where. The second is they know what show you are on, but that is it. Stage three is they know your character name, but not your real one. The fourth is they finally know your name and how to pronounce it. The fifth is your character name is said like the joke that you have become. The final stage is where they mistake you for someone else whose career has also gone down the tubes. Since his career has followed that path, I think it is funny how he characterized it. Especially because it is so true.
And since this was said on JKL, Jimmy made sure to add a stage to the levels of fame…the last stage is being asked to be on Dancing with the Stars. And you guessed it he was asked to do it, and as of now he has said no.
Seriously guys back to the Beek for a second, just when I didn’t think I could love him anymore he comes with stuff like this. I was not a fan of Dawson, but I love James Van Der Beek.
Finally – here is Kimmel’s stages of fame:
1 – You are on that late show?
2 – Your that Man who is less of one on The Man Show.
3 – Jimmy Camel? Jimmy Kimmy?
4 – Jimmy Kimmel
5 – You were dumped by Sarah Silverman for Matt Damon?
6 – Weren’t you that Jim guy on According to Jim? or Jimmy Fallon?
Hopefully if someone Kimmel reads this, they will know I am joking about his stages of fame…or am I???
