Craig Ferguson likes to end most of his interviews on The Late Late Show with either awkward pause, mouth organ or big cash prize. Well yesterday on the show Susan Sarandon opted for an awkward pause and let’s just Rocky Horror Picture Show’s Janet is an Oscar winner for a reason. Their moment was so awkward, I felt awkward for them and yet I sort of enjoyed it.
Remember those Afterschool Specials or those very special episodes that took on racism and homophobia? Well tonight on FX at 10:30p Unsupervised takes on those issues in a way only they can. And even though they do it a politically incorrect way, they still get the proper message across.
The Unsupervised students attend one of those useless school assemblies where they talk about racism and they have the same reaction you did back when you were in school. But unlike us they act in a way that will get them in trouble.
Besides dealing with those special issues, Joel’s much older brother moves back in and he has a secret that will change how his younger brother feels about. Let’s just it is something you have never seen on an animated show before and hopefully will never see again.
I have said this before and I will say it again, even though Unsupervised is an animated comedy it is more real than almost everything else on television. So why not check it out tonight because let’s be honest there is nothing better on TV at that time.
Megan Fox is on Ellen today and she told Ellen DeGeneres about the only job that she had when she wasn’t an actress. Back when she was a teen working for a Smoothie shop in Florida, she had to transform into a banana to promote the place. Well the daytime host seized the opportunity to scare Mrs Brian Austin Green and let’s just say she almost had to peel her off the ceiling. I love that Ellen is as sadistic as I am, is that wrong?
When I saw the first trailer for What to Expect When You are Expecting, I had no temptation to see the movie. After watching the second trailer for the star studded comedy, I can’t wait to see the movie when it comes out on May 18th. In fact I hope they turn the Dudes Club into a series because I love watching men f*ck up!
Nickelodeon has brought back repeats of All That, Good Burger and a bunch of their other ’90 shows to Teen Nick and yesterday they announced they are bringing back one of their biggest game shows from the era. Figure It Out is coming back with a 40 episode order on Nick and Jeff Sutphen is going to host.
No word who the celebrity guests will be, but I hope they expand to their Teen Nick lineup and get the kids from Degrassi on the show. Production begins next month and the show will air later in the year.
