Celebs reading negative Tweets about themselves
March 22nd, 2012 under Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday was Twitter’s 6th anniversary and my fourth on it, so to honor the first milestone Jimmy Kimmel Live had celebrities read negative Tweets about themselves. Roseanne, Will Arnett, Will Ferrell, Joel McHale, Andy Dick, Jason Bateman read some of the Tweets that non-fans wrote about them. As good as all of them were, the best one was brought to audio by poor Kristen Bell. I think her reaction was more awwwdorable than when she was told she was having a sloth at her birthday party.
You know what else I think, I think that JKL needs to add this as a weekly segment because I would love to watch Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and P Diddy’s reaction when they read what people Tweet about them. I don’t think they will take it as well.
Finally since we have become such a virtual world, Jimmy Kimmel Live reminded us how we used to communicate with humans before Twitter, Texting, email and Facebook.

Kristin Chenoweth has never been cuter
March 22nd, 2012 under Ellen DeGeneres, Kristin Chenoweth. [ Comments: none ]

Kristin Chenoweth is one of the cutest actresses in Hollywood, but I think that her appearance on today’s Ellen is one of the most awwwwdorable ways I have ever seen her. Ellen DeGeneres has been doing a thing call Dance Dare where she has people dancing behind unsuspecting people. Well she asked the GCB actress to do it, but for whatever reason she was unable to. So the daytime talk show host had people do it to her. The best part is when the little cutie was in her dressing room talking to Ellen as two men gyrate behind her and she doesn’t have the faintest idea. Now it isn’t the Dance Dare that was so precious, it was the small woman with a big voice’s reaction to it all. Don’t you just want to pocket her up?
BTW I love how Wicked Ellen is to her guests because it is fun without being mean spirited.

Feel the powerful and exciting Touch tonight
March 22nd, 2012 under Fox, Kiefer Sutherland. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9p Touch makes its official debut on Fox and you are not going to want to miss this feel good drama.
Tonight’s episode is like the special event episode as in Jake gives his dad Martin (Kiefer Sutherland) a clue that will lead him somewhere and he has to follow it. Only problem is he is given that number as his special son is being taken away by child services. So now he is on his own to solve the mystery. As he works solo, his touch will touch someone who will touch another person and somehow they will all connect until we find out at the end of the episode how they are all connected.
In the upcoming weeks, other people we got to meet in the first episode will also be touching others and bringing them together. Also Martin will get some clues about his late wife and meet people from her past. Those reveals are some of the most touching on the show.
Touch is one of those shows that comes once every few seasons. It is the show that we will talk about after we watch in amazement as each episode unfolds. t is rare to have a show be as good as this one, so you have to watch so we can let these network heads know we want enjoyable smart programming on our airwaves.

Will Ferrell is as good of a dog trainer as his recent movies
March 22nd, 2012 under Conan O'Brien, Frat Pack, Will Ferrell. [ Comments: none ]

Will Ferrell shared with Conan O’Brien on the TBS late night show what he does in his free time. The Anchorman trains dogs to do obstacle courses. You have to watch what happened on Conan because it will make you laugh harder than you did when you saw Land of the Lost and Step Brothers to name a few. Granted that isn’t that hard to do, but I enjoyed it more than Elf and that was one of his better ones.

Antenna TV is always in style!
March 22nd, 2012 under Antenna TV. [ Comments: none ]

I don’t mention this enough, but Antenna TV is my favorite channel on television. Unlike TV Land and Nick at Nite, Antenna TV actually plays the classics instead of claiming they do. They air Norman Lear’s brilliant shows like All in the Family, Good Times and my favorite Maude. They also show shows that haven’t been in syndication in a long time like Soap, Too Close for Comfort, The Monkees, The Partridge Family, Benny Hill and starting next month they are adding WKRP in Cincinnati to the lineup. There is always something on for me to enjoy.
So why mention my adoration now? Well they just released a promo showing how fashionable the network is. Seriously Antenna TV is always in style even though the bell bottoms and polyester suits the actors wore on the sitcoms are not.
If you want to find out if you get Antenna TV and see which other of your favorites they air, then check out the Antenna TV website. I promise you will love the channel as much as I do.
