On no David Hasselhoff is multiplying
February 16th, 2012 under David Hasselhoff/Baywatch. [ Comments: none ]

I thought the world already had its full of David Hasselhoff with just the man itself, but I guess that wasn’t enHoff. Yesterday The Hoff Tweeted the above photo and said, “You’ve heard of The three tenors Come see The Three Hoffs Indigo theater march 2 nd!! Kitt will be there too!!” and all I could think is oh sh!t, he is multiplying. It is like someone poured water on the Mogwai and fed him after midnight and now we have three of him to swoon us with his music. Let’s hope it stops there because I don’t think we can handle any more of him.

Blake Shelton just gave me a Hillbilly Bone
February 16th, 2012 under Blake Shelton, The Voice. [ Comments: none ]

Miranda Lambert Tweeted a picture of her husband Blake Shelton and said, “Here u go!:) hot!” Hot is too cool of a temperature to describe that picture of her Honey Bee because he is steaming up my computer screen. I don’t know about you but he just gave this girl a Hillbilly Bone.
Just when I thought I couldn’t love The Voice coach any more, I see a photo like that of The Dreamer and I know I will be dreaming about him tonight.

RIP Neil Hope aka Wheels from Degrassi
February 16th, 2012 under Degrassi. [ Comments: none ]

Neil Hope who played Wheels on Degrassi passed four and a half years (November 25, 2007) ago at the age of 35 from natural causes, but his death is first being reported today according to Toronto.com.
Degrassi’s Executive Producers Linda Schuyler and Stephen Stohn from Epitome Pictures released a statement about his passing, “We were terribly saddened to hear the news. Neil made an important contribution to our lives, to the lives of our television team who are like a family to us, and indeed to the lives of the many Canadians and others around the world who were influenced by Neil and the roles he played starting from the early days of The Kids of Degrassi Street. His life was not an easy one, but the time he spent with us was a shining example of determination, hard work and hopeful optimism, and he is sorely missed.” Stohn added on Twitter, “We are all terribly saddened by this news. Neil and his character Wheels in the early Degrassi deeply touched many lives. We have respected the privacy of the family by not saying anything until now, but our entire team is very emotional about his passing”
Hope is one of the few actors who acted in almost every version of Degrassi from The Kids of Degrassi all the way up until the latest installment of Degrassi: The Next Generation. He last appeared on the show during D:TNG’s third season.
Hope’s death is hitting me hard because I had such a crush on him when I was growing up. Wheels has always been my favorite character in the Degrassi franchise.
So today take some time to remember him by watching him in an episode of Degrassi Junior High or Degrassi High. Or better yet belt out Everybody Wants Something and let him know we are will never give up loving him.
Below is one of his of greatest episodes:

Stephen Colbert cancels shows for unknown reason
February 16th, 2012 under Comedy Central. [ Comments: 1 ]

Yesterday if you turned in to get your news from The Colbert Report, you were surprised to see a repeat airing instead of a new episode. Comedy Central issued a statement saying, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the show will air repeat episodes on Wednesday, February 15 and Thursday, February 16.”
The news was broken on Third-Beat Magazine who saw Tweet from an audience member who got a letter informing them the show was cancelled for the night.
Colbert has worked through ailments, so let’s just hope and pray that whatever this is isn’t too serious. We need to get our serious news from him because he is more reliable that most of the real crap that we have out there.

Jimmy Kimmel finally lands Oprah Winfrey
February 16th, 2012 under Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: none ]

For years Jimmy Kimmel has wanted, begged and dreamed of having Oprah Winfrey on his show and on Oscar night that will finally happen. ABC announced today that she will be the main guest on his post-Oscar special. This is his biggest get since he stole Ben Affleck from Matt Damon. And he was probably just as excited and is just as nervous when he got to f*ck Ben Affleck. Hopefully she will be gentle with him since it is first time. He might not last that long and come out before he should, but he will give it his all. She should know it gets better the more someone does it and give him a break for being a virgin around her.
Besides having the Queen of Daytime on his late night show, he will have Oscar host Billy Crystal open up the special. He will close the night with a performance from Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow’s husband’s band Coldplay and between all of that Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Tom Hanks, Martin Scorsese, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, Don Cheadle, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Samuel L. Jackson, Cameron Diaz and many more will make special appearances on the show.
Past guests during the special have been Tom Cruise and anti-Semite Mel Gibson. Along with hysterical bits from the Handsome Men’s Club, Tom Cruise sending Kimmel into a burning building, Mel Gibson as Colonel Sanders, Christoph Waltz in Der Humpink and of course he told the world in song he was f*cking Ben Affleck.
Congrats to Jimmy Kimmel for finally getting the guest that has eluded him for years!
