BTWF roles: Thomas Gibson in As the World Turns
February 22nd, 2012 under Before They Were Famous. [ Comments: none ]

(starts at 17:05 in)

Before Thomas Gibson was married to Dharma on Dharma and Greg, he was married to Lily on As the World Turns. How gorgeous was the 27 year old actor back in 1989 on that soap opera.

Aren’t Nathan Fillion and Tim Daly too old for Underoos?
February 22nd, 2012 under ABC, Nathan Fillion, Tim Daly. [ Comments: 4 ]

Nathan Fillion and Tim Daly are two of the voices for the animated video Justice League: Doom, so I am assuming the two ABC actors decided to dress up as the characters that sound like them to promote it. As much as I like would like to see the Castle and the Private Practice stars in their underwear, I think I could’ve gone without seeing them in their Underoos. Not that they look bad in them, I just envisioned them is something different. But I guess for now this fantasy could work.
BTW you can hear them as Green Lantern and Superman in Justice League: Doom when it comes on out February 28th

When a news reporter doesn’t react to the news
February 22nd, 2012 under TV News. [ Comments: none ]

via Tampa Bay Times
Part of being a good reporter is you have to react to news when it happens around you even you are going live with another story. If you don’t do that, I think you need to find another job.
The other day WFLA’s Adrienne Pedersen was doing a live shot in Tampa about the rising gas prices when just a few feet away from her two cars crashed. Instead of turning around or even acknowledging what just happened, she continued on with her report as if nothing happened. In fact it was so obvious to the anchor about what happened, she had to ask if she saw it. She responded with, “I didn’t, but now I did. It looks likes a cab got into an accident.” Then the anchor makes a nervous joke saying, “Probably shocked by the gas prices.” After making that unfunny, she then asks if everyone is OK. Adrienne seems to be bothered and says, “Yeah, they’re OK.”
Seriously Tampa is a top 20 market, you would expect the newspeople there to do a better job.
Now on the joking side, gives new meaning to breaking news.
