A sad day in television
November 7th, 2011 under Reality TV. [ Comments: 1 ]

Dr Drew has a way of bringing television down to new lows and today he did so by trying to find out if a 17 year old girl’s breasts are real or if she has implants. Yes Courtney Stodden is a media whore and she seems to be addicted to the attention, but I thought Dr Drew was all about fighting addictions and yet he played right into her’s.
At least when Kim Kardashian went to prove that her butt was real and when Tyra Banks had proven that her boobs were real, they were both around 30 years old. Courtney isn’t even of legal age. She is not mature enough to understand the ramifications of all this.
I don’t mean to be preachy, and I know what Dr Drew did is nothing new, I just think that doing it on 17 year old girl is beyond sad

Where’s Waldo? He’s coming to the big screen
November 7th, 2011 under Stupid Sequels/Remakes. [ Comments: none ]

Just when I think that Hollywood can’t come up with a more ludicrous ideas for movie, The Hollywood Reporter says that MGM has bought the rights to make Where’s Waldo?. Not much more is known, but the film will be a live action family adventure.
Oh and you don’t have to be smart enough to find Waldo to know this movie is going to be stupid.

Tonight’s episode of Two and a Half Men is winning!
November 7th, 2011 under Chuck Lorre. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9p on CBS’s Two and a Half Men, they pay tribute to Charlie Harper aka Charlie Sheen in a way only Chuck Lorre can.
When Walden (Ashton Kucther) decides to donate Charlie’s piano, it really changes Alan. When I say changes him, I mean it is as though he is possessed by his late brother and takes on his personality. To see Jon Cryer take on Sheen’s disposition is freaking hysterical because it is so unlike him and he totally nails it. For example when he catches his son kissing a girl he says, “We know what happens after making out, making in and out.” But as funny (and true) as that line is, it not as hilarious as the last line in tonight’s episode. So make sure your DVR is set to go past 9:30p.
Once you hear that line (you will know that winning line when it happens) get your finger on the pause button so you can read Chuck Lorre’s sweet Vanity Card that explains how the hit sitcom came about.

Jaret Leto gets the David Bowie
November 7th, 2011 under Jared Leto. [ Comments: none ]

One of David Bowie’s most famous and ugliest hairdo was mullet like and now Jared Leto has that same style. The 30 Seconds to Mars star is also known for his wacky ‘dos, but unlike Bowie this isn’t even his worse hairstyle. It is ugly, but the peroxide blonde and pink mohawk was worse.
Oh and WTF is up with the gloves?

The cast of All That reunites and sings their famous theme song!!!
November 7th, 2011 under Alisa Reyes, Nickelodeon. [ Comments: none ]

On Saturday the cast of All That got together for their first reunion since the show began re-airing nightly on TeenNick at Comikaze and when someone from the audience asked Kel Mitchell, Lori Beth Denberg, Josh Server, Alisa Reyes, Lisa Foiles , Katrina Johnson, Angelique Bates, Brian Hearne, Mark Saul, Jack Desena, Leon Frierson and Giovonnie Samuels to sing the theme song, they did! How cool is it see all of them together like that? I would love to see all of them come back and do All That again, but this time as grown up. I think it could totally work, don’t you agree. I mean the original cast looks just as good as they did when they started on that show in 1995!!! Can you believe it has been 16 years since we all started singing “The show is All of That and yes we do it all the time” Oh that line has a whole new meeting!
Now back to the reunion, you can watch more of the panel below!
BTW for those of you who could not be there on Saturday, I for one can tell you it was a lot of fun and they all look great and even better in person!!!
