The fourth new show to get a full season pick up is…
October 5th, 2011 under CBS. [ Comments: none ]

CBS is going for broke because they picked up 2 Broke Girls for a full season. I am still not sold on the show just yet, but it actually was a little better this week. I think is because Whitney Cummings distanced herself from the show where she is behind the camera to focus on the sh!tty one where she is in front of it. The humor wasn’t as offensive, so that is my assumption why they didn’t cross the line like they dad during their second week. Hopefully it will get even better, now that NBC decided to occupy Whitney’s time with her unfunny sitcom for the full season also.
BTW the news of the first (and only) shows to get full season pick ups so far are comedies, it proves sitcoms are not dead! Although it looks like Free Agents will die tomorrow…

BTWF roles: Madeline Stowe in The Amazing Spider-Man
October 5th, 2011 under Before They Were Famous. [ Comments: none ]

(starts at 4:00 in)

Before Madeline Stowe was the Queen of The Hamptons in Revenge, she was the President’s daughter in The Amazing Spider-Man. She looks exactly the same now as she did when she was 19 in that 1978 episode.

Dance Moms has their final dance of the season tonight!
October 5th, 2011 under Dance Moms, Lifetime. [ Comments: 1 ]

Tonight at 10p is the season finale of Dance Moms on Lifetime and I am so sad to see the season end.
Dance Moms has become the show that everyone enjoys watching, but no one wants to tell anyone that they are watching it. It is a secret shame, but we all need one. Right?
On tonight’s episode the girls go back to Hollywood with Abby Lee Miller and their mom and compete to be the lead in a music video. Only one girl will be the star, and can you guess who it is? It was a good episode because you get to see what other professionals think of the girls and maybe Abby Lee is right and maybe she is wrong. You will have to tune in to find out.
Oh and at the end of the episode, we get the see full music video and even though you think you know who is the star of it, one of the dancers will surprise you with getting the most face time in it. And you know what that made me the happiest for these little girls after watching Dance Moms all season long!
So put on your dancing shows and watch this show dance one last dance for the season!

Start watching the American Horror Story tonight…you won’t regret it!
October 5th, 2011 under American Horror Story. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 10p on FX the tale begins for American Horror Story and you will want to move in the house full of deadly secrets tonight! Now that the temperature is starting to chilly, you are going to want to slip under the covers, curl up with a good show like this one.
Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott have moved to California from Boston and the house that they have chosen to live in has a cheap asking price because they were told the last owners were part of a murder suicide. What they don’t know is that they were not the only untimely deaths to happen there…far from it and those past murders will haunt them and their teenage daughter.
McDermott plays a shrink and has decided to use one of the extra rooms for his practice. His patients are as weird as the house and play into the show. But I cannot tell you more than that,
In the first two episodes of the show they start off with a graphic past murder from the house that will play into what is happening today. I like that concept and I am curious how Ryan Murphy will be able to keep it up. We know he was warped enough to do it on Nip/Tuck.
Now when it comes to the feel of the show, it is like the classic slow moving horror movies from the ’60s and ’70s. It had a very Carriesque feeling to me and I thoroughly enjoyed it. For those of you who like those type of scary movies, you are going to appreciate a television series that takes on that model for a horror show.
So tune in to American Horror story tonight and every Wednesday on FX at 10p for a frightful drama that will leave you spooked to the core.
Oh and did we mention that we see McDermott fully naked masturbating and he has an amazing a$$! And yes we see a lot of it!!! What do you more to watch?

Hey Hank Azaria I’ll watch your new show, if you take The Simpsons pay cut!!!
October 5th, 2011 under The Simpsons. [ Comments: 2 ]

Hank Azaria took the Twitter today begging people to watch his show by saying, “Okay it’s do or die time for my show Free Agents– we need eyeballs tonight at 8:30 on NBC!! Watch tonight or we may go away…” Well Hank, I love you, but unless you take that pay cut for The Simpsons thus keeping that show on the air, I have no intention of keeping your other one on!
And that goes to all the other greedy bastards on The Simpson who refuse to a make a few million dollars less in these tough economic times. You also make residuals off the show and all you do is sit in a room and talk into a mic. How many other actors are grateful to be working for just $250 a day (if they are lucky enough to) and you are complaining about an extra few million dollars? Do you realize how disgusting that sounds? I’m sorry, but none of them are worth it. I have heard enough people impersonate those characters voices that I don’t understand why they just don’t replace them with those other voices. It’s not like we will know the difference! Sorry it makes me sick that in these times when people are struggling to put food on the table this money grubbing group are not willing to take a pay cut. Really what do you with with all those millions of dollars? How many of those actors give any of it to charity? I mean they might, but I have not heard any big donations from any of them, have you? Sorry don’t mean to rant, but I did!!!
