Nerdgasm! Breaking In will be back for a second season!!!
August 25th, 2011 under Fox. [ Comments: none ]

Breaking In debuted in April to good numbers on Fox and then in May they announced that the show wasn’t on their schedule. Then they said they would give the show one more shot and try it out without American Idol as a lead in and decide about the show’s fate then. Well we didn’t hear anything until the TCAs earlier this month where the President of Fox Entertainment said they were still looking for a way to bring it back in their upcoming 2-hour comedy block in the spring. Then there were rumors yesterday that even though the new season hasn’t started that Fox was close to picking it up for a second season and I didn’t want to get my hopes up until it was official. Well I just had a nerdgasm because it is official. That’s right after three attempts Christian Slater finally has a show see what it is like to be renewed and it is his best show so far!!! Even though he finally found the perfect role as Oz, the man that runs Contra Security, he doesn’t do it alone. He does it along with the funny actors Bret Harrison, Alphonso McAuley, Michael Rosenbaum and Odette Annable who all have great chemistry together.
I am so happy that Fox wised up and renewed this smart original comedy for a second season. There is nothing else like it on TV and anyone who is an uber fan of TV and movies will love this show.
Seriously I love little shows that could like Chuck, Family Guy, Jericho and of course Breaking In! Even though they have been cancelled, the love of the fans have given all of those shows another season. When are they going to listen us in the first place…
Congrats to Breaking In for a second season! And Adam F Goldberg, I can’t wait to see what you make Jennifer Irwin do as Creepy Carol because you said she would get a whole lot creepier if the show came back!!!

Ryan Seacrest is a rough and tough cowboy!
August 25th, 2011 under American Idol 9+, Ryan Seacrest. [ Comments: none ]

Ryan Seacrest Tweeted the above photo and said, “Heading to texas for @americanidol auds this wk, stopped at CVS to pick up some authentic cowboy gear”. I want to see video of him actually going down to Texas dressed like that because they will be as nice to him as Simon Cowell was to a bad singer who thought he was the bomb. It will be a hoe down unlike any we are ever seen on the Fox singing competition.
BTW I actually think he looks cute with his little guns and straw hat!

Looks like this season of House should be locked up
August 25th, 2011 under Lisa Edelstein/Hugh Laurie/House. [ Comments: none ]

If you are like me, then you hated the final minutes of the season finale of House and were afraid what they were going to do when the Fox show came back for it 8th and possibly final season. Well looking at the promo for the season premiere that will air on October 3rd, I am thinking the show should be like the doctor and locked up. To me it looks they are repeating what they did when they sent him to the mental institution. Maybe it is time for this show to go, just like the cast seems to be doing.

Morning newscasters acting like an old married couple!
August 25th, 2011 under TV News. [ Comments: none ]

You know if you spend enough time with someone of the opposite sex, you will eventually start to act like an old bickering couple. Case in point WGN‘s Robin Baumgarten and Larry Potash, when he missed an element of a story she ripped him a new one on live TV. He got up walked over to his fellow male news team and mimicked her about her meltdown. By the end of the newscast they were all laughing about, but I am sure behind the scenes it was a total different story.
And this isn’t the first time they have lost it on air, 9 months ago they were covering a bridge implosion live and they missed the actual moment. Let’s just say they didn’t take it very well!
After watching both freak outs, I want them to get a national morning show because they are better than anyone we currently have doing those shows!
