Just like many people around the nation, Hoover is pissed at ABC for cancelling All My Children and One Life to Live so they are pulling their ads from the network.
The vacuum company posted the below message on their Facebook:
To all the loyal ABC soap fans,
I want you to know from me personally that we hear you loud and clear. My wife and mother are both passionate viewers of All My Children and One Life to Live, as are many of my colleagues here at Hoover. We were and are as disappointed with this news as you are.
In fact, we will discontinue our advertising with ABC this Friday, 4/22. We’re making every attempt to pull our spots from these programs sooner.
Because we feel that’s not enough, we also want to help get your voice heard with ABC. So, we’ve set up a special email address, [email protected], to help pull together the mass emotional outpouring of support for our beloved ABC soaps and get it to our contacts at ABC. Please, send your emails to us at [email protected], and we’ll get every, single last one of them to ABC.
We’re 150% committed to doing what matters most to you – so if there’s anything else we can do to help or you have any ideas, please email this address, and we will respond to you personally.
Thank you for standing up for what matters to you! We need more of that in this world.

I am so glad I only buy Hoover and will continue to do so after this statement. I hope that more companies stand up to ABC and tell them they made a mistake. No matter how loud soap fans scream, it is just a whisper as compared to how loud advertisers can yell. So keep yelling because the consumers are listening!!!

The Mega Python vs Gatoroid co-stars will not only play songs from their Electric Youth they will also be singing covers of the songs with the Foolish Beat that made them who they are as singers! Sounds like it is going to be like totally awesome, so who is with me and ready to show these ’80s teen idols that they can still Shake Your Love!
So now that we have New Kids on the Block touring with Backstreet Boys, and Tiffany singing it out with Debbie Gibson…who do you think will be next? Greg Brady and Danny Partridge? Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera? Menudo from the early ’80s and Menudo from the late ’80s? Eddie Murphy and Jamie Foxx?
UPDATE: Tiffany took to her Facebook and explained that it isn’t a tour as of now, but a few shows between to the two ’80s teen idols. But I think if those do well, it can easily turn into a tour, don’t you agree? So let her know you want a Tiffany/Debbie Gibson tour because I sure as heck know I want to see them on one stage!!!

There’s no official tour. Just some shows in the works. I’m starting my touring dates in may. And this new record is taking off. So excited. Single will be released soon and video in the works next month….a lot to do.
With that said, I’m trying to put all things in motion. They’re will be shows with deb just not sure how many. So when they come up don’t miss them.

Tonight at 8p on 90210 the gang goes to Mexico for spring break and they will go through a lot of revelations about each other and themselves. Naomi and her math tutor will learn one plus one equals one…if you know what I mean. Silver and Ade are still pissed at each other and they will get revenge on the other one in some very interesting and painful ways. There will be a monkey on the back of two of our leading ladies, one figuratively and one literally and both will suffer for it. Someone will realize they are ready for a relationship and others are going to realize they are just friends. It is definitely going to be interesting when they get back to West Bev next week.
While they are overseas for spring break, Gossip Girl is spending it in NY and Lily is waiting to find out if she is going to jail. But before the verdict is in, we will get a nice family picture with her long lost sister and niece and that means we get to meet Manhattan’s newest bitch Charlotte. Serena has a new friend and its her cousin, will everyone welcome her in to their group? Chuck knows about Blair’s kiss with Dan, but is it what he thinks and will he confront her about it? This movie got me all excited for the April 29th Royal Wedding because it showed what a real couple they are and go through what everyone in their situation goes through and then some that only could happen if you are dating a Prince. Is this movie Emmy worthy? Not at all. But it is extremely enjoyable and I have already watched it a few times because who doesn’t secretly wish they were marrying royalty like Kate Middleton? So grab some wine to go with this cheese because I promise you will have fun watching William & Kate!
