It isn’t even Black Friday, but we are getting one of our best Christmas presents of the season now. People Magazine posted this 1990 Christmas family photo of The Simpsons. Not the animated one that airs on Fox but Jessica and her little sister Ashlee with their parents Joe and Tina. The 10 year old Jessica looks the same now as she did then. While her 6 year old sister looks completely different. The one thing they do have in common is they look just like their mom in different ways!
Before Fran Drescher worked as The Nanny, she was a secretary on American Hot Wax. She looks the same now as she did when she was 21 in that 1978 movie. Now the 28 year old Jay Leno is a completely different story, he looks so different with the darker hair and a few less pounds.
Craig Ferguson Tweeted the above picture and said, “Bridger & I on set of ad for new Explorer. Ford r so confident in the car they don’t mind my creepiness #sorryopie.” Not sure if it as much creepy as it is cute. I am assuming he is going for The Andy Griffith Show in the ad and he copied Sheriff Andy’s hair. I really hope it is a wig because I love his hair and what he is on the top of his in that photo not so much. Now when it comes to Bridger, he didn’t have to do anything to look like a young Ronny Howard aka Opie Taylor. Now I wonder who is going to play Barney Fife, I am going with the leather-clad intern…

Let’s be real the last time that M Night Shyamalan made a watchable movie it was called The Sixth Sense. So this weekend when Mark Wahlberg was talking about his movie The Fighter that is getting Oscar buzz, he wound up talking about a movie that was getting Razzie buzz…The Happening, and let’s just say he agreed with everyone who saw the movie. According to The Hollywood Reporter when Marky Mark met Amy Adams they talked about the 2008 bomb, “We had actually had the luxury of having lunch before to talk about another movie and it was a bad movie that I did. She dodged the bullet. And then I was still able to … I don’t want to tell you what movie … alright The Happening. Fuck it.” He added, “It is what it is. Fucking trees, man. The plants. Fuck it. You can’t blame me for not wanting to try to play a science teacher. At least I wasn’t playing a cop or a crook.” I actually saw the movie and he was believable as a science teacher, granted we didn’t see him teaching but I believed he teaching science.
BTW my advice to other actors is if you see that M Night wrote and directed the movie you are auditioning for, run like Forest Gump because the chances of it being good is as good as you seeing dead people.
New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys are going on tour this summer and they gave us all a little preview of what we can expect of the NKOTBSB tour. I don’t know about you, but I am already wet in excitement! That is what happens when you put two boy bands together like that!
I just wish they had more New Kids songs in that mashup because I never got the whole Backstreet Boys thing. I am New Kids girl! Did I just openly admit that?
I am also openly admitting I so want to go to their concert when it comes to LA, who wants to hook me up with tickets???
