Florence Henderson made her Dancing with the Stars debut yesterday and Carol Brady’s face definitely showed how excited she was about it. The 76 year old’s face is really ageing well and so is her body. She has better body than some of the other women she is competing with on the show.
And on her comments about Cloris Leachman yesterday, I am so Team Cloris!
Yesterday Bristol Palin, whose claim to fame is while her mom was running for Vice President of the United States she was knocked up as a teenager, made her Dancing with the Stars debut. The teenage mom said she would be conservative on the show and she was anything but. She wore a little dress and kept shaking her hips and t!ts during the dance. I don’t have a problem with her showing off what made her a household name, just don’t try to play all innocent when you are not going to be.
It wasn’t her boob shaking that made me laugh the hardest during her performance, it was what Bruno Tonioli said to her during his critique of her. He actually used the word virgin in it, granted it was followed by the word territory but still he used it when talking to the born again virgin. Whoops, kind of like what Levi Johnston probably said after he got her pregnant.
When it comes to the rest of the ABC dancing show, it was as boring as I expected it to be.
Summer is over and school is back for McKinley High which means it is time for Glee at 8p on Fox. The episode starts off with a funny recap of the summer by Jacob Ben Israel as he interviews everyone about their summer. There are a bunch of new characters and they are giving the old ones a run for their money. Charice has a sing-off with Lea Michele to Lady Gaga’s Telephone and all I can say is wow she wins! Chord Overstreet is the new and improved, I am sorry to say this, Finn. Not that Cory Montieth needs improvement, but Chord will blow you away. Finally there is a new football coach and her needs will bring Shue and Sue together and us a lot of laughs. Quinn is trying to get back to normal and become a Cheerio again. Then there is the Glee club and they are just the same and singing some great songs tonight like Alicia Keys Empire State of Mind.
The season premiere made me love Glee again, but with all the rumored stunt casting I don’t know how long that feeling will last. But for tonight sit back enjoy Glee at 8p.
Then stay tuned at 9p and 9:30p for two new sitcoms on Fox. First is Raising Hope which stars Martha Plimpton who suddenly finds herself being asked to help to take care of her grandchild because her teenage son knocked up a woman who is executed for killing her exes and now he has custody of his daughter. No one knows how to take care of her, but somehow they will make it work. Oh and did I mention that Cloris Leachman is on the show?
At 9:30p Will Arnett and Keri Russel return to TV in Running Wilde as childhood (her family was his parents’ housekeepers) friends who had crushes on each other are reconnected when Will’s dad wants to destroy the the land that her adopted tribe live on. Keri is now a mom to a 12 year old daughter and she doesn’t want to live in the rain forest anymore. So when Keri goes to confront her friend, they wind up staying. How will they adjust to each other?
Katy Perry has a new man in her life and his name is Elmo. The California Gurl shot a parody of her song Hot and Cold for Sesame Street with the red hot puppet that will air on PBS on New Year’s Eve.
You would think since she is engaged to Russel Perry that she would’ve asked him for some acting advice because that was just awful.
