Piranha 3D has been only been out for 3 days and Dimension Films already announced today that they are working on a sequel for the campy cult movie. The film’s producer Mark Canton stated, “We are thrilled that audiences are not just loving PIRANHA 3D, but cheering for it. And it’s fantastic that so many critics are really getting the movie and recommending it. We can’t wait to get to work on the sequel.†And I can’t wait to see the sequel because the first one is just that f*cking awesome. I just want to know if the sequel will pick up where the first one left off or if it will go in a different direction? I am hoping they go with the premise from the first one’s ending. You have to see the flick to understand what I am talking about. Seriously if you haven’t seen this movie, run or swim to see it ASAP because it is the funnest movie you will see all year!
It was 5 years ago today that Hurricane Katrina formed over the Bahamas and tonight at 9p National Geographic Channel is going to tell the story like you have never seen it. Witness: Katrina is told through personal videos of people who lived through the worst hurricane that ever made landfall in the United States. There is very little narration (just to announce dates) in this 2 hour special, the only voices you will hear will be from the survivors themselves. It begins with the warning that the hurricane is coming their ways and then follows their story after they were asked to evacuate, as the storm hits, what happens to them because they stayed and ends a few days after the hurricane dissipated and the flooding starts to go down.
There were several times during this two hour special that I had chills go down my arms and I never once lost interest what I was watching. I can’t imagine what they went through, but this gives us a little bit more of an understanding what happened before and after Katrina. You see their reactions before, during and after the storm and get to see what they went through during each stage of it. This is an amazing special that everyone should watch because it is told by the people themselves and not through news channels nor politicians. You can’t get anymore real than that, so make sure to watch it tonight on Nat Geo at 9p.
BTW for those of you wondering about the dog at the end of the clip, according to an update at the end of the special Hop survived the storm!
This picture that Ryan Seacrest Tweeted has Caption Me written all over it, so go ahead and do it!!!
BTW Russell Brand Tweeted “SNORTING! The only thing Ryan puts up his nose is his finger.@katyperry: looks like your snorting me… (@RYANSEACREST)” in response to Ryan’s Tweet (Just got @katyperry’s new CD. Its a scratch n sniff. Smells like cotten candy.)
Tonight on Lifetime at 9p Bond of Silence will premiere and you are not going to want to miss this movie!
It is New Year’s Eve, your neighbors are away and their teenage son is having a loud party at their house and it looks like it is getting out hand. What do you do? Well Bob McIntosh made the fatal mistake of going over there and telling the kids to quiet down. Bob enters his neighbors’ bedroom where a group of teens are partying alone there, so he tells them to get out and go downstairs. When the clock strikes 12m and he is not home, his wife Katy sends her friend over to find husband. What he finds is his friend Bob barely clinging on to life. Although the hospital does everything they can to save him, there is nothing they can do. Now he wife is left alone with their two young kids and no clue who killed her husband. Greg Grunberg plays the detective trying to solve the murder, but he hits a wall when the teens all bond together and remain silent about what happened that night. Their friendships start to fall apart and they threaten each other if anyone breaks the bond of silence. As Katy tries to find out what happened that night, the town turns against her and blame her for why people aren’t visiting their tourist town. After months of waiting to find out what happened she finally learns the truth and how she reacts to it will surprise you. In fact I hope that if Bonds of Silence does well tonight on Lifetime at 9p, that they will make a sequel telling that story.
Kim Raver plays the role of Katy McIntosh with such strength and conviction that you can’t help but get drawn into her performance. Although Greg Grunberg is playing a cop like he did on Heroes, this role is different than his last one and you would want to have him as the detective helping you out. All-in-all this is a well acted film that will keep you on the edge of your seat trying to figure what happened with an ending you will never see coming.

Keifer Sutherland is 43 years old and he can still work tight little swimming trunks like that. I was shocked to see that the 24 star still has that good of a body, although I was more shocked to find out he is only 43. I really thought he was closer to 50.
BTW I hope that is a bottle of water he is downing like that.
