Don’t you hate when you go to an event and they want you to wear a jacket and a tie, but all you want to wear is jean shorts a T-Shirt? Well if you are Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson you go to the Shakespeare In The Park Opening Night Celebration with suit jacket, button down shirt and a toe on top and jean shorts and shoes without socks, and you like a schmuck as you walk you way down the red carpet.
While I think he looks good from the waste up, he looks stupid when you that ensemble as a whole. You would think that now he is on the most buzzed about sitcom last year, that he would dress better than that.
On a positive note at least he wasn’t wearing those black man socks that almost go half way up your calf.
Before Andrew Garfield was prepping for his war on crime as Spider-Man, he was prepping for the war on terror in Mumbo Jumbo. Looking at the 21 year old actor in that 2005 short, I have to admit he does have the look of Peter Parker.
BTW this was a total cheat, I could have done anything for his Before They Were Famous because he hasn’t done anything before today’s announcement that made famous.
Sony announced today that Andrew Garfield will be the new Peter Parker in the Spider-Man reboot. Don’t know who he is, don’t worry you are not alone. The 26 year old British actor was seen in Lion for Lambs and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Didn’t see those…don’t worry not many people did. So Sony went with a no name who I am sure will be a name when Spider-Man 4 comes out in 3D on July 3, 2012. That’s right they have exactly 2 years to make him a name that we all know and they will start with The Social Network. The actor was in Cancun for a Sony press day for TSN and according to the Heat Vision Blog shortly before the press conference today he was told he landed the role. SM4 director Marc Webb had this to say about his star, “Though his name may be new to many, those who know this young actor’s work understand his extraordinary talents. He has a rare combination of intelligence, wit and humanity.” We shall see. For now I will say he has the look, but until I see him act in something I will hold off saying they made the right choice casting him.
Liza Minnelli brought her Cabaret style to HSN to make a mark, a yen, a buck, or a pound and fourfour make a compilation reel of the highlights from her appearance. The Liza Collection is only available on HSN and out of all the celebrities, I can’t think of any one more perfect than her to sell their stuff on the Home Shopping Network. Seriously doesn’t her look just scream HSN?
And talking about screaming I am so mad I missed her debuting her line yesterday. Hopefully she will be back there soon because not only would I pay to see that, there were few items I would considering buying for myself. Did I just admit that I want to dress like Liza with a Z?
