Robert Downey Jr and Craig Ferguson are crazy, but in a different way!
May 14th, 2010 under Craig Ferguson, Robert Downey Jr.. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday Robert Downey Jr saved the best for last, because his final interview to promote Iron Man 2 was on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. When I saw that he was going to be on the show, I thought they were going to talk about their past drug use but instead we got an interview with the man who plays Tony Stark. It’s Friday, so sit back, enjoy and watch the two of them just talk the sh!t because you know you want to!
Check out CBS tonight at 12:35a when Craig Ferguson interviews Amanda Seyfriend. And mark you calendars because on Monday CBS is re-airing the interview that Craig Ferguson did with Desmond Tutu that earned him a Peabody Award!

The case is closed on Law & Order
May 14th, 2010 under Dick Wolf, NBC. [ Comments: 1 ]

NBC has cancelled Law & Order one season short of breaking Gunsmoke’s 20 season record according. The show that launched 4 spinoffs will be signing off after being on TV for 20 years. But before you fans of Law & Order get too upset, the death of Law & Order gives way to birth of Law & Order: Los Angeles because G-d forbid NBC only have one L&O on their air.
The Live Feed got this statement from the father of the Law & Orders about the cancellations.

Since the May 24 finale has already been shot, the final episode won’t provide much closure to fans. Sources say NBC and Wolf plan to meet after the upfronts to discuss possible “closure opportunities” for the show, possibly having characters from “L&O” appear on the “Los Angeles” spinoff, or even having a two-hour wrap-up movie.

Hopefully NBC will give this long running show the goodbye it deserves.

UPDATE: NBC has also pulled the plug on Mercy according to The Live Feed. I liked this show, but the cancellation is not a surprise because of its declining ratings. Hopefully the end of Mercy means that Trauma will be back, but I highly doubt it.

UPDATE 2: Michael Aussielo says that Trauma is dead too…:(

Chuck and V will be back next season, FlashForward won’t
May 14th, 2010 under ABC, NBC. [ Comments: 2 ]

Next week the networks are going to announce their fall lineups, but some of what shows are and are not returning is already being revealed. NBC renewed Chuck and ABC picked up V but cancelled FlashForward, Romantically Challenged, Better Off Ted and Romantically Challenged according to Michael Ausiello.
Thank you NBC for sticking with Chuck for at least another 13 episodes, now make me even happier and do the same for Heroes.
I am happy ABC is still a fan of V, I just wish they felt the same about FlashForward. Although it makes sense for FF to be a one season show.

UPDATE: Chuck’s show creator Josh Schwartz Tweeted this about the pick up, “Just got the official call: thank you Chuck fans for getting us a 4th season! Thrilled to keep working with amazing cast & crew.” Don’t forget to watch Chuck on NBC on this Monday at 8p the following one for the two hour season finale.
V’s EP Scott Rosebaum Tweeted this about his renewal, “Hey V fans. Thanks for all the support! Get ready for Season 2!” V’s first season finale airs this Tuesday at 8p.

Russell Crowe the bad boy is back!!!
May 14th, 2010 under Russell Crowe. [ Comments: 1 ]

Before Russell Crowe got married and had kids, he was known for not having one of the best temperaments and was also known for walking out on an interview or two if he didn’t like the questions. Well since he settled down we haven’t heard of any such issues. That is until today, because the Robin Hood star walked out an interview with BBC Radio 4 when the host critiqued his accent. I have to admit after listening to the interview, I side with the Oscar winner on this one because Mark Lawson was really egging on him on. What do you think?
BTW that critique on his Robin Hood accent reminded me of that brilliant line that Cary Elwes uttered in Robin Hood: Men in Tights…”Unlike some other Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent.” If you never heard him speak that famous line in his native accent, here it is!
