Madonna makes a rare television appearance on her good friend Jerry Seinfeld’s show The Marriage Ref tonight on NBC at 10p. Not only is the twice divorced musician a panelist on the show, so is the hysterical and happily married Ricky Gervais. The host of the show, Tom Papa was on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and he told him that during tonight’s TMR he had to yell at the singer, “Not now Madonna! You behave yourself.” I can’t wait to see what she did to warrant that type of response. Should be an interesting episode, so check it out on NBC at 10p.
On Sunday Gabourey Sidibe did not win the Oscar, but she had Orpah Winfrey praise her in front of billions of people and not many people can say that. After the telecast she got to go to the parties and since that night has been on a few talk shows including Jimmy Kimmel Live.
But tonight on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew you will see one of her favorite moments of her week if not her life, she got to meet her crush JC Chasez. The Academy Award nominee had a very groovy moment as she got to meet her favorite *NSYNCer that she has had a major crush on for a while! I said groovy because tonight is disco night on America’s Best Dance Crew, so watch as the crews put their Boogie Shoes on the MTV show at 10p!
Football Hall of Famer and actor Merle Olsen passed away yesterday at the age of 69 due to mesothelioma according to MSNBC. As a football player he played for Utah State University and the LA Rams. As an actor he was known for playing Jonathan Garvey on Little House on the Prairie, the title character in Father Murphy and was a spokesperson for FTD Florist.
So today put on Little House and remember the legacy Merle Olson left behind.
UPDATE: Melissa Gilbert just Tweeted this, “Just heard about the passing of Merlin Oleson. I an so sad. My heart go out to his dear family. He was one of the sweetest, kindest, men I have ever known. The personification of the Gentle Giant. Forever now, a guardian angel.”
The moment Twihards have been waiting for since they saw New Moon, here is the trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Maybe because I am old enough to drink, I just don’t get the Twilight phenomenon, but since I am sure many of you are all having debates if you are Team Edward or Team Jacob I posted that video for you. Now saying all of that, I kind of want to see that movie on June 30th to find out what team Bella is on.
BTW I can’t wait to see the fan video of the Twihards watching the trailer like when the New Moon one was released.
