Brad Pitt and his little thumb suckers!
February 24th, 2010 under Brangelina. [ Comments: none ]

Bauer-Griffin Online
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are in Paris so she can film her movie The Tourist, so while she was playing one Brad was making like one with their oldest daughters Zahara and Shiloh. As they toured the City of Love, the awwwdorable little girls sucked on their thumbs and gave us those cute pictures. Maybe the reason why they feel the need to suck on their thumbs like that is because they are always seeing their parents suck face like that. Angelina just radiates when she kisses Brad and she lights up when she see her little girl. After seeing that kiss between Brangelina, I really think we can put those split rumors to rest. How long until the new headlines about them, is that she is expecting lucky number seven?

When did Antonio Banderas turn into Mel Gibson?
February 24th, 2010 under Antonio Banderas. [ Comments: 1 ]

Bauer-Griffin Online
Antonio Banderas was seen with a new look, a beard thicker than Mo’Nique’s leg hair…at least I assume it is. Unlike other recent Hollywood actors who have been growing out their facial hair like George Clooney, Milo Ventimiglia, Eli Roth and Jon Hamm, the beard is not because he is not in front of the camera and doesn’t have to shave but for his new movie Knockout. After seeing Melanie Griffith’s husband with that beard, I have KOed that movie from my future viewing because if that thing is scaring me in those little pictures imagine how huge and thick and terrifying it will look on the big screen when it is several feet tall and wide.

Did Craig Ferguson’s audience-free experiment work?
February 24th, 2010 under Craig Ferguson. [ Comments: 3 ]

Yesterday Craig Ferguson tried something that most late night talk show hosts would never dare to do and that is do his whole show without an audience. In opening transition between his show and his boss’ David Letterman’s he explained why he decided to try this experiment. What he said made sense. Instead of doing a monologue, he immediately started interviewing the witty and interesting Stephen Fry and continued to do so for the rest of the show. Basically it was a chat between two old friends and they talked about a range of topics from their drug use, Twitter, America and so much more.
Last night’s experiment was definitely an interesting one, but I can’t say I fully loved it. Part of the reason why I watch late night TV is not only for the interviews, but for the laughs. I didn’t find myself laughing during the chat. I found it interesting and learned some things, but I did find myself getting bored. I like the concept of getting to know someone better and I really feel that I did, but I am not sure his show is the right outlet for that and especially at that hour. By not having the audience there you get a much more intimate interview which I liked, but I think I prefer the interviews with an audience when you can tell by the silence that you are going to long on a topic or the laughter to keep going with that part of the interview. And I think audience feedback was really missing from their chat. I am not saying I wouldn’t watch if he chose to do it again, but I would prefer if he did it again he did it with someone with a little more energy that he has a great rapport with like Denis Leary!
After the show finished taping @CraigyFerg Tweeted, “Just finished taping show with Stephen Fry & no audience. Thank God he is so erudite & generous. Odd show. Some will like it. Some won’t.” I think I am just in the middle when it comes to how I feel about it. What do you think? Do think he should do it again?
Craig Ferguson will be back with an audience tonight at 12:37a on CBS’s The Late Late Show and he will be talking to Don Cheadle and Jenneatte Walls.

The trailer for Showgirls 2
February 23rd, 2010 under Movies. [ Comments: 3 ]

(very NSFW)

via ONTD
I always wondered what could top one of the worst movies ever made, Showgirls and that movie looks to be a sequel to the 8 time Razzie winner. If that trailer for Showgirls The Return is any hint to how horrible the film is, it might be the worst movie ever made. I don’t know what was the worst part about that 4 minute trailer, the crappy music playing in a loop, the visuals, the way it was edited or the trailer itself as a whole. I think all of the above.
If the trailer wasn’t bad enough news for you according to Movieline, Marc Volander actually got financing and made that movie for $25 million. Yes, $25 million. Who the f*ck would finance that piece of sh!t?
Oh if you are trying to figure out what was the plot for that movie, here it is “It’s about stripper who died from a dose of contaminated cocaine. Her brother comes to Frankfurt to find the responsible and revenge.” That sounds like the original, no?
Who plans on seeing that movie? As much as I say I won’t, one day I will be sitting at home flipping the channels and I will see that Showgirls 2 is on and I will wind up watching it. Heck afterall, I said I wouldn’t watch Basic Instinct 2 and I wound up watching that one day when they was nothing else on TV.
