NCIS turns 150 tonight!!!
January 12th, 2010 under CBS, NCIS. [ Comments: 1 ]

CBS’s #1 show NCIS celebrates a huge milestone tonight at 8p, it celebrates its 150th episode. On tonight’s special episode we meet Tony DiNozzo’s (Michael Weatherly) dad Tony DiNozzo played by the legendary Robert Wagner.
When Tony’s dad comes to town everyone is curious about him including Tony Jr who is trying to figure out why now he is choosing to come back into his life after all these years. As the team tries to get some alone time with Tony Sr, Tony Jr is using his investigative skills to find out more about him. What he finds out changes the way he looks at him and puts their relationship in trouble. How far will he go to protect his father or will he do something that could end their ties forever? What is great about this show besides all the chemistry between the cast and Robert Wagner, is the change between two of the characters closeness because of of Tony DiNozzo’s reappearance into his son’s life.
Tonight’s episode Flesh and Blood is a perfect way to celebrate the show turning 150, so make sure to watch it!
And make sure to watch the episode all the way until the end for a cooking tip I can’t wait to try. Can you believe that?

Lost at the TCAs
January 12th, 2010 under Lost. [ Comments: none ]

(photo from ABC)

So today was the Lost panel previewing the final 18 hours of Lost and it wasn’t as painful on my head as I thought because they did not preview the upcoming season as much as look back at the first five seasons. It was so fucking awesome to be here today to hear them talk about the show and I tried to transcribe as much for you guys who are fans of Lost to kind of experience what it was like. Hearing that this season will be like the first one has me so fucking excited I can’t wait for it to begin on February 2nd. So much so I don’t give a shit that I spelled out fucking!!!

This will be cleaned up but here is what happened at Lost panel at the TCAs Winter Press Tour Day

Lilly says she will cry like a baby when the show ends.
Jorge – There are places they have been to that they have n’t been to since season 3
Josh – This season feel likes season 1. Commaridity and nostalogia.
Emile – Feels like like the first season
Damon says good to end whem people like it….can’t believe they are letting them getting rid of this

Carlton – Came out with an ending at the beginning and adding elements as it when it along. As you move to the end you had plot points. Character stuff works out as it goes it along. Like Emerson. There is still discovery

Terry – knew a month before us that he was dead. He didn’t know until he filmed it.
Damon – The producers don’t tell because they don’t speak to them. The actor reads the script and determines what they do. The fun is to send to the scripts to hawaii and see what we get back
Carlton – It makes it more real when they read teh script and find out what happens
Damon – We didn’t call Terry to tell him because it would confuse him to tell him he was dead until he is dead.
Terry – It was easier to play Locke to not to know I wasn’t Locke
Emerson – It is better to be in the dark. Good to not to know the secrets

Carlton – No pressure for spinoffs. The story will come to close in May.
Lilly – The show is exhausting. And all the actors will hibernate to get throufgh all tehy did

Emile – Fav moments getting the old cast together. Getting to know each other.
Daniel – Launching of the raft. To see off the first season;
Josh – Group scenes. Take 2 – 3 days to film. If you position self just right to just have fun. And try to get into close=ups
Lilly – Claire giving birth and Boone died. It was everything the show represented. They were heroic moments. It made her cry and it made her proud to be part of.
Damon – Talking to execs and having to tell them about time travel.
Carlton – Raft launch. What the actors did to prepare for the scene. The music scene when he taped it the musicians tapped their instruments after watching it and they cried.
Locke – Coming to work these people and doing a scene with these actors. Seeing who you are going to work with
Emerson – Lots of breathless scenes in small rooms. When Ben and Sawyer on cliff and looking at sea and reading Syeinbeck and having rabbit in a back pack., Stop the scene and just appreciate the beauty.
Jorge – When the comet and it hits Mr Clucks and he is getting hit by chicken parts.

Jorge – The premiere lost of head scratches
Josh – Felt like finale
Emile – read it three times to get it
Damon get ready to scratch your heads
Emile it is thought provoking and will get your to wabt to watch mor. It brings you in more. It finishes up in a good way. It is ashow you have to watch every episode
Lilly – Get to try on a new character each time even though you play the smae one
Daniel – Even though it is the 6th season, it changes the feeling once again. Every year has been interesting because of what they do
Lilly – We are not bored yet even though it is season 6

Emerson – Grwat season ender from a show that always has good eneding. great that it is two part cliffhangers. \Happy to play the scene I got to play. Likes to do something impulsive and was happyt to play
Carlton – The seaosn premiere pick up where the finale ended. They won’t give away what happens and that is why we haven’t seen anything new

Damon – Cover bases abd comne up with a shitty ending to Lost and hopes to put best foot forward. Didn’t want to come up woith the safe endinbg and didn’t want to come up with an ending that everyone would like. No excuse because they knew they had an end and had time to think about it. There is a universal hope that most people will liek the ending. Some will say it was teh worst ending and his mom would love it
Carlton – Not every question will be answered, Trying to explain to everything will be a mostake. Good character resolutions and a satisfying ending

Damon – 18 hours left over 16 weeks

Josh – read pilot and said this character was such an asshole how do I stay alive. Joked to wife, don’t throw away boxes because he thought he would get kjilled quickly. Never had any idea where the story woulkd go for him. To play the same character but with different perspectives such an honor to play it so many different ways
Terry – Walkabout kn ew it was going to be interesting. JJ told him that not much at the beginning but you will have more to come.

Carlton – exciting that Obama opted not compete with them
Damon – Lifelong Democrat but when he heard Obama wanted to have SOTU on 2/2 he said that mother fucker

carlton – stuff will start to premiere before 2/2. Interesting stuff coming

Damon – Wehn ending thinking of the beginning, the show has to go back to beginning to examine the ending. This how the charcter started and where they are now. Show the audience the before to have some sense where they were and where they are now. That is why we feel like season 1

Damon – Miracle we won an Emmy and grateful that they have noms since. Hard to explain the show to people who haven’t watched.

Carlton – New people can watch teh show if they ahevn’t seen it and the recap show is well enough for newcomers. They changed the tone and new comers can get it.

Damon – Legacy – in the week after the finale will be talking about just yteh fianle and not taliing about thw 125 hours before that. As time goes on people will be able to remember the series as a whole. Peole will be happy that they dedicated as much time as they did to the show

Josh is retiring and he is only doing conventions

Josh – Discovery his humanity and keeping his edge. It has been an honor enlighting and scary. The Juliet thing he was afraid that people would not like the softer side of sawyer. It has been an amzing honor. He has had so many life changing monets since teh show marriage new home and baby and accpetance of being an acotr

Josh – Bitter sweet lost
Carlotn – Harold will be back on the show
Damon – Libby will also be back on the show
Terry – they will be unemployed actors
Jorge – less mosquitos
Lilly – living in paradise has been in prison because they don’t have a lot of freedom when they are on the island they are on the island they are stuck there. the show fgives them freedom that they didn’t appreciate when they were filming.
Terry different view than me vecause you are younger

Betty White’s new Golden Girls?
January 12th, 2010 under TV Land. [ Comments: 3 ]

(photo from WireImage)

Betty White could have a new Golden Girls on her hands if TV Land picks up the pilot she is shooting with Valerie Bertinelli, Wendy Malick and Jane Leeves. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “The project revolves around three eccentric fortysomething best friends from L.A. (Bertinelli, Leeves, Malick) who wind up stuck in Cleveland and decide to stay there when they realize the locals consider them glamorous. White plays a grumpy and opinionated lady who has lived in the cottage of the trio’s Cleveland house for 50 years.” I so hope and pray that TV Land picks it up! I would watch it every time it airs on their network and I am not just talking about the first run episodes.
Hey TV Land if you pick this up, I promise I will post that the best season High School Reunion premieres tomorrow on TV Land at 10p, but if not I won’t mention it all.

Say hello to fourth time papa, Mark Wahlberg for me!
January 12th, 2010 under Marky Mark. [ Comments: none ]

(photo from Pacific Coast News)

Mark Wahlberg and his wife Rhea Durham welcomed their fourth child, a baby girl named Margaret Grace yesterday in LA. According to The Star, “Mark was in the delivery room with Rhea,” says the source. “And he cheered her on all the way. Rhea was a real trouper, and now they can’t wait to get home and be a big happy family with their four kids.” The Wahlbergs now have two boys and two girls, Margaret joins Ella, 6, Michael, 4 and Brendan, 1.
No word when they will be working on baby #5, but I would say probably as soon as she is out of the hospital. The couple said that they want a large family, but Mark has also said it is Rhea’s call how many they decide to have. Smart man!
