Katherine Heigl is returning to Grey’s Anatomy tonight on ABC at 9p after a much needed 3 episode break for us and Micheal Ausiello is reporting that she going to take off a few more eps as a maternity leave for adopting her baby. I say to Shonda Rhimes, just dump her already. Because there are so many characters on the show now, I didn’t miss her and I didn’t even notice she was gone. In fact since she adopted Naleigh and hasn’t been on Grey’s Anatomy, I completely forgot about her altogether. At this point Grey’s can do without a character or two or three. There just so many of them, I stopped learning their names because I already have enough useless information in my head as it is.
So I spent last Friday and Saturday with the cast of Days of our Lives and they told me so many things about the show’s past and what is coming up. Earlier in the week, I posted the first batch of pictures of the cast from the show, and today I am posting the rest! (I am sorry it took so long for me to get them up, I have not been feeling well.)
Friday and Saturday were a dream come true for this life time watcher of DOOL and I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed being there!

Bill and Susan Hayes talked about how they have spending 35 years of Days of our Lives together since meeting on the show. The two of them talked about their time on the show and about being the only soap stars to ever appear on the cover of Time Magazine. In fact they told us the story of how they found out they made the cover. Several actors were photographed and no one knew who made the cover until it came out. The two were going to the commissary when they were handed the Time Magazine with them on the cover and they were in shock. Susan also told us that Bill was the first actor to sing on a soap opera and in fact they had created night clubs on DOOL for him to sing at at least once a week on the show. These stories and many more can be found in their first book Like Sands Through the Hourglass that you can only buy on their site and it is autographed for a very reasonable price!!! They also told us they just finished their second book and are hoping to release it soon!
Mark Hapka and Shelley Hennig talked about how they would like their good characters, Dr Nathan Horton and Stephannie Johnson, to maybe go bad. Something that will start happening to at least one of them… I hope both of them go bad soon because they both look so sweet, that it would be nice to see them play evil! Although Mark Hapka plays a little evil in his webisode Boo and I can’t wait to see what he does in Midgets vs Mascots!
How cute are Dylan Patton and Taylor Spreitler together? Too bad their characters Will and Mia are having relationship problems. When I asked them who they would want to date on the show, Dylan innocently answered “Like we have a choice.’ Which didn’t make Taylor too happy, but fear not the two actors worked it out by the end of the interview. Taylor also told us Mia will be going through a lot in the next few weeks and this 16 year old actress has proven she has the acting chops to relay what Mia is going through perfectly. She also told us how Alison Sweeney gave her pregnancy tips when she had to fake a pregnancy on the show and that she had to wear several different baby bumps to get that pregnant look.
Maggie is like a surrogate mom to Melanie on Days of our Lives and seeing Suzanne Rogers and Molly Burnett together you can tell that they are still the same way when the cameras are not rolling. Seriously the two are so sweet together, that they are a WYSIWYG. As in What you see on TV is what you get in person.
Lindsay Hartley and Eric Martsolf talked about going from Passions to Days of Lives and how it is nice to be working together again and how much they love working on DOOL. They also told that most of the actors they worked with on their previous soap are working like crazy which is a good thing all around. Now when it comes to their characters Arianna Hernandez is going to have some interesting stuff going on now that people are slowly knowing the truth about her. Brady Black is also going to have some must watch stuff coming up because not only is he involved with Ariana, he is also involved with Nicole whose secret is starting to get known by everyone in Salem.
Jay Kenneth Johnson and Casey Deidrick are two of Salem’s hottest men and they are both having women troubles. Casey talked about all he is going through with Chad as is he the father, to he isn’t and now the ultimate betrayal. Jay talked about what it was like coming back as Philip and having to wear bandages when he first came on the show to explain why his face looked different. He told us people would come up to him and tell him how they like his character with Belle. I can understand their frustration because Belle belongs with Shawn. When are they going to return to Salem because I miss them!
There is so much coming up in November and it has already started! Sami now knows Sydney is really her baby and that is just start of all that is going to go down because of that reveal. Rebecca Gayheart finally confirmed what we all knew, to In Touch Weekly that Eric Dane and her are expecting a baby. She said, “We’ve always wanted to be parents. I think Eric is going to be a wonderful dad, and hopefully I’ll be a good mom. We’re absolutely looking forward to it!” She didn’t say how far along she is, but I would say she is about 3 months away from having her little McSteamy.
Rebecca and Eric aren’t the only ones who we just found out are going to have a wee one soon. Us Weekly is reporting that Joey Lawrence and his wife are expecting their second girl.
While the two above are waiting to have their babies, Accidentally on Purpose’s Ashley Jensen had a boy according to People. Francis Jonathan Beesley aka Frankie Jack was born on October 20th.

So I guess I should suffer through morning TV because in the last two weeks I have missed out on some really awesome live moments. But thanks to James Hibberd, I get to find out about them on his blog!!! Two weeks ago we saw Drunk Ewoks on NBC’s Today Show, and now we are seeing a beaver piss on an anchor from CBS’s Early Show. Debbye Turner Bell handled it better than I would’ve because if a beaver’s piss squirted in my eye I would be screaming and begging for anything I could get my hands on to get it out. Actually what would’ve made that video even funnier is if the beaver’s piss squirted into her mouth! Now that would’ve been a classic!!!
Poor Taylor Swift should enjoy all the awards she is winning, but no matter what she wins someone has to rain on her parade. When she was at the VMAs, Kanye West interrupted her acceptance speech…as we all know.
Well yesterday she won the Entertainer of the Year at the CMAs and Wynonna Judd tells USA Today that she wasn’t ready for such a honor.
“You want my honest comment? It’s too much too soon,” said the singer, who accompanied mom Naomi. “Time is God’s way of keeping everything from happening at once. It’s just too much of a good thing too soon. My thing is, being a home-school mom, I want kids to earn it, and I think some time … ‘cause mom and I rode in a car for the first year of our career to visit radio stations. There was a making of the star, there was a rising up, and the fans went with us. Now it’s over coffee breaks, the success, almost. You have to play catch up … It’s like the girl who wins an Oscar and she’s under 20. What do you do from here?â€
Ouch, what did poor Taylor do to deserve such a hard sentiment about her win from Wynonna Judd. I am thinking that Wynonna is just jealous because she didn’t get nominated until she was 22 and she didn’t win it then, but Taylor is only 19 and she did. Taylor is one of the few country artists that I can listen to, so who cares if she is only 19, she deserved it!!! You go girl!!!
