Stephen Colbert gets his rap on!
December 16th, 2009 under Comedy Central. [ Comments: 1 ]

Yesterday on the Colbert Nation Alicia Keyes was singing her hit song Empire State of Mind (Part II) and Stephen Colbert decided to join her with some love for the city via a rap tribute. After watching him do his thing, I think he might have made the wrong career choice. He should’ve become a singer. Plus he has some really good moves, who knew he could dance like that? Although if he became a hip hop artist, I would hate to see him those loose pants because he would be hiding his huge instrument and that should not be kept under wraps!!!
Yo Kanye, I’m really happy for you, I’m going to let you finish (your career), but Stephen Colbert just kicked your a$$ again!!! I really hope that Stephen and Alicia release that single the same day that Kanye releases his next one so that Stephen can once again outsell him like he did with A Colbert Christmas!!! Seriously I can’t wait to download that song on iTunes because it was just that good!!!
See what Stephen Colbert raps about tonight on Colbert Nation on Comedy Central at 11:30p!

Alice in Wonderland looks Mad as a Hatter
December 16th, 2009 under Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Johnny Depp. [ Comments: none ]

Finally we are getting the full trailer for Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland and it looks visually stunning. The movie that stars Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter and Crispin Glove is a sequel to the original story. A 19 year old Alice returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends: the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and of course, the Mad Hatter.
When I first saw the posters for this movie, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to see it. Now that I have seen the trailer, I can’t wait to see it in 3D on March 5th!

Craig Ferguson’s musical 1,000th Late Late Show episode!!!
December 16th, 2009 under Craig Ferguson. [ Comments: 1 ]

(The bottom video is from I Knowwww!)

Yesterday was Craig Ferguson’s 1,000th episode as host of The Late Late Show and he had a very musical episode. Well I say it was his 1,000th episode hosting, but really it was Wavy the most popular puppet on the show who took over for the night. Wavy did such a good job, I am afraid he might take over for Craig for the next 1,000 episodes. He was definitely a charmer with the ladies on the show. He totally got to make out with Maria Bello as seen below.
But the night wasn’t only about Wavy getting his croc on with the ladies, it was about the musical numbers. The show opened up Wavy and the crew singing and dancing to Trace Adkin’s Honky Tonk Badonkadonk and ended with them all doing James Taylor’s You’ve Got A Friend. Both numbers were just such classics and great representations of what Craig Ferguson has done with the Late Late Show in the first 1,000 episodes he has had with the show. The show also featured Jason Segel and his puppet Dracula with the band Broken West doing a memorable song from Forgetting Sarah Marshall. After listening to him sing, I can’t wait for the How I Met Your Mother’s 100th episode…that is a musical one!
All in all the 1,000th episode of The Late Late Show was a very special one and even though I am a Johnny-Come-Lately that started in around episode 700, I can’t wait to enjoy the next 1,000 at least. If Craig can hold out that long…
Don’t forget to check out episode 1,001 tonight on CBS at 12:37a when he will have on Bob Barker, the man that destroyed his old set. I wonder how he will top that appearance!!!

Rick Springfield is talking about Jessie’s Girl and so many more…
December 15th, 2009 under Rick Springfield. [ Comments: 1 ]

(photo from WireImage)

Rick Springfield is talking strangers about his life in a tell-all according to AP. The memoir that is due out in October will be “extremely candid” and in it he will be detailing his battle with depression. The book will be called Late, Late at Night, but I think he should’ve gone with Crushing Roses which is his signature move when he is given roses during his show. No other details were given about what will be in his autobiography, but you know it is going to be good. I so can’t wait to read it.
