Before Cory Monteith was singing and dancing on Glee, he gave us something to be GLEEful about in Bloody Mary. How nice was it to see the 23 year old naked in that 2006 horror movie!
The CW has picked up The Vampire Diaries for a full season and had ordered 5 more episodes of Melrose Place. I am so happy that The CW decided to sink their teeth into The Vampires Diaries for the back nine after last Thursday’s episode that changed up so many things. I could not believe how many big reveals that happened during that show, that I having dying to see how everything will all turn out throughout the season. When it comes to Melrose Place I am bummed they only got 5 more eps, but 18 is better than 13. It will be interesting to see if that number will change after Heather Locklear guest stars on the show next month.
BTW on a TV note in general, it looks like we will be finding out in the next few days what other shows will get additional orders and which only air the 13 episodes that were originally ordered. At this rate it looks like only one fall show (The Beautiful Life) will not air all their ordered episodes. I am not sure if this would be a first time that only one new fall show was cancelled, but it is definitely a rarity.
So remember that jerk Jason Mesnick from The Bachelor who dumped Melissa Rycroft, the girl he chose and proposed to and then dumped on national television for the runner-up? Well according to People, not only is he still with Molly, he proposed and she said yes. The two continued a long distance relationship after the cameras stopped rolling and are now they are getting married.
OK, let’s start taking bets on who thinks they will actually make it down the aisle. Who actually thinks they will make it to their wedding day? And if they do who thinks they will invite Melissa to the nuptials and better yet who thinks she will actually go?
Miss Saigon is living The American Dream by being adapted for the big screen! According to Variety Tom Cruise’s ex-partner Paula Wagner is hoping to release the hit musical in 2011 with production starting on the film next year. Besides the heart wrenching love story and the amazing music the show was also known for the elaborate sets and it will be cool to see how they will do them for the movie.
I am really hoping that all those years that Paula spent with Tom Cruise hasn’t ruined her vision too much because I am really looking forward to seeing Miss Saigon done right for the big screen.
Chris Brown announced that he is doing a "fan" appreciation tour, and I think it is appropriately named because that is as many fans as he left…one. The disgraced singer will be playing 19 dates starting on November 14th and I wonder how many people will actually pay to see him. I actually liked his music before the incident, and I still can't listen to it without getting the heebie jeebies.
Brown is trying to doing good by donating part of the ticket sales to Best Buddies and The Jenesse Center, a domestic-violence intervention not-for-profit organization according to MTV News. Well maybe not as much as doing good, but doing it for good publicity.
