Tonight on Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance, Nigel Lythgoe announced his new project the Dizzy Feet Foundation. Nigel started the foundation with Adam Shankman, Carrie Ann Inaba and “his good friend” Katie Holmes. DFF was established to help underprivileged kids who might not have the financial means or the chance to take dance classes to have the opportunity to take them. Dance is a beautiful thing and it is nice that they are using their training for good!
Also on the show Nigel confirmed “his good friend” Katie Holmes will be dancing a Judy Garland tribute on the 100th episode that airs on July 23rd. Seriously if they are such good friends, why have we never seen them together. He is such a name dropper.
The oldest Jonas Brother Kevin is one step closer to finally getting laid because he told People he is got engaged to his girlfriend, Danielle Deleasa today. Kevin flew from Vancouver last night, and he said performing was so hard because he knew he was going to show up on her doorstep this morning to propose to her. Of course she said yes, imagine all the money she is coming in to by marrying him.
His parents are so happy that the first of their boys is getting married.

I wonder if now that he is about to get his cherry popped if Bonus Jonas aka Frankie will take his place in the band? It is about time he joined his older brothers, don’t you think?

Karl Malden passed away today at age of 97 according to NY Times. The Academy Award winning actor has been in several classic movies like A Streetcar Named Desire, the TV show The Streets of San Fransisco and of course being the face of American Express. For all of things and so much more from his career that lasted over 70 years he will be remembered for. What a body of work he is leaving behind for us to remember him by.
Spotted a bad casting choice for Gossip Girl, as EW’s Michael Ausiello breaks news that Hilary Duff is joining the show.
The actress-designer-pop chanteuse will play Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional college experience. She ends up rooming with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) so it’s safe to say she’ll be majoring in Drama!
Seriously, why her? I mean she is better than Michelle Trachtenberg, but not by much.
BTW how cliche is that storyline of an actress who decides to try living the normal life in college, been there, done that on The Best Years. Maybe her character will get a role in a movie (like they always do) and go back to Hollywood never to return to college again.
Hopefully Gossip Girl is planning better storylines than this for their college years.
