CSI actress Marg Helgenberger who is married to SAG President Alan Rosenberg…or should I say who was married to…because she filed for divorce today according to OK! Magazine. When news broke that Marg had left her husband in December it was about the same time that SAG Strike talks started heating up. Now that she is officially divorcing him, I wonder if that means those talks will once again be heating up as a distraction for him?
The two met when he guest starred on Ryan's Hope, but did not star dating until she met him again at a bank when she moved to LA. The two had been married for almost 20 years and their only child moved out to go to school last year.
Due the Olympics all the Awards shows have been moved out February and into either January or in the case of the biggest one of them all, the Oscars will air on March 7th! It will be interesting to see how the over a month difference between all the shows and the Oscars will affect the Academy Awards.
Talking about awards shows…looks like after months of uncertainty the Daytime Emmys is very close to finding a network to air them. According to Gold Derby The CW is in discussions to air them around August 31st!!! I am so happy that The CW is considering them because it would have been a shame had TV shunned them!!! And I will be even happier if Days of our Lives and General Hospital dominate the show!!!

American Idol is doing one of their staple themes tonight on the show and it is Motown week. Every year Simon and other Judges will give the same critique to most of the singers, that song is too old for you or you need to make the song current. Well maybe if they picked themes that are more modern, they might be able to sing younger and make it more hip! Just an idea.
