Hot off of the heels that Ruben Studdard was dropped by J Records, word comes that Taylor Hicks is also without a record deal. EW was told by his former-record label, "Taylor is going to record his next album on his own," said a label rep. "He is no longer on the J Records roster."
I have to admit I am not shocked he was dropped, he was good for TV but he was bad without his stupid dancing to back up his average vocals and lame music.
Oh well at Taylor Hicks and Ruben Studdard can console each other about being dropped, hopefully they will leave some room for Jordin Sparks who will be lucky if her debut album sells 500,000 copies.
Now we know why Pamela Anderson was alone on NYE she had Rick Salomon served with divorce papers 3 days before the New Year according to Us Weekly. I guess you can say that they are no working things out…
No word if they had time to make a sex tape…yet.
BTW if you consider that her marriage to Kid Rock lasted 4 months and this one lasted two months…her next one will probably last only one.
I know it is just me, but I hate a man in a white tux. While Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds look happy and in love their wedding photo, I can't get past him wearing virginal white. Doesn't he know that only the bride is suppose to wear white at her wedding?
Lindsay Lohan slipped up and had some champagne at a NYE bash in Capri according to TMZ. After 3 months of sobriety she slipped up, but stopped herself before it got too bad her lawyer said.
“The good news was that Lindsay stopped herself that night, called her sponsor, and got herself immediately back on track. There is no magic cure here. The most unfortunate part of this is that Lindsay has to share her ‘one day at a time’ with the entire world.”
I guess this explains her weekend with all those boys…one for each night.

Jimmy Kimmel has said what I have been saying about the WGA strike and the late night talk show hosts. I guess that is why I like him so much, great minds think alike!!! What was not seen in that monologue is that he has segments on his show that showed past clips which he called so the unemployed writers can get residuals. Way to go Jimmy!!!!
Here are the other monologues in no particular order…
Personally I think that Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien who did not have their writers did a funnier monologue than David Letterman and Craig Ferguson who did have their writers. I have to admit that was the first time I laughed at one Leno’s monologue in a really long time and the first time I actually saw one of Conan’s. I also have to admit I got a few chuckles with Craig’s but not many with David Letterman.
