It is not even worth reviewing because we all know how bad American Idol was last night and there was not one good performance from any of them last night. It was partially the contestants fault, but it is also due to the fact that Bee Gees songs really are not that good. How many times have you been at a karaoke bar and heard a Bee Gees song, Bon Jovi yes, Bee Gees no. Note to American Idol producers cross off Bee Gee theme nights from the list of possible theme nights. If you are going to do disco do with KC and the Sunshine Band, Kool and the Gang or Donna Summers instead.
Now who will be voted off tonight, I am going with Melinda Doolittle and this is why. Four out five of the last American Idol seasons have had a shocking elimination when it comes time for the final four. The first year was Tamyra Gray, the second Joshua Gracin, the third was Latoya London and last year was Chris Daughtry. So I am saying this year will be Melinda Doolitlle because she was the early frontrunner and has pretty much stayed there in a lot of people eyes. Not mine, but a lot of others. So it will be interesting to see if history will repeat itself. And if it does she probally will be able to continue her musical stage career like LaToya London touring with The Color Purple and Tamyra Gray who just signed on to do Broadway's Rent.
At the rate Britney Spears is going there will be no left leg left to those stockings. And I can swear those are the same fishnets she has been wearing because they have the same hole in the crotch area.
And BTW how cute is that Country Girl's little boy Sean Preston?
So after watching Dancing with the Stars last night and watching as they danced to Jamirquai’s Canned Heat it reminded me of one of my favorite movies Center Stage. The dancing in that movie just awed me. G-d what an amazing dancer Ethan Stiefel is. What I would do to be his dancing partner. The way he moves…purrrr. Just watch the below dance number from the movie and you will totally understand what I mean!!!
In an interview with Fox 411, George Lucas gave his Spiderman 3 review. He said, "It's silly. It's a silly movie. There just isn't much there. Once you take it all apart, there's not much story, is there?" He added, "People thought 'Star Wars' was silly, too," he added, with a wink. "But it wasn't." Ummm, I have to disagree with Lucas because the last 2 Star War films were beyond silly and not in a good way. I barely got through the last one.
Lucas also talked about Indiana Jones 4, but didn't eliborate too much because Steven Spielberg wants to keep the movie a secret. He said, "Steven thinks we can keep the whole thing a secret. I explained to him that it's impossible nowadays. We can't live like that." He was could not say if Karen Allen will be back, but did confirm that script includes Sean Connery's character but he has not signed on yet.
