In 1982, several unknown teenage actors, including Tom Cruise and Rob Lowe, were cast in a movie that would change all of their lives forever.
Two of those teens were Matt Dillon and C. Thomas Howell, who, along with Ralph Macchio, were the leads of the coming-of-age period drama.
Their characters had a bond that would last their whole lives, which was not that long. Even though Dillon’s character’s story ended before the credits rolled, his friendship in real life with Howell never ended.
This weekend, Dally and Ponyboy reunited, and we got to see what would have happened had Dally not killed himself running from the cops. They still would’ve been the type of friends who would have each other’s backs! That and they grew up to be two very handsome men!
