Variety says that Queen Latifa has signed on to be in the remake of the 1984 movie All of Me which starred Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin. I just don't get why New Line is remaking this movie and with her. In fact when I heard they were remaking the movie I actually pictured Cameron Diaz in the role and I was still dreading the movie. When will Hollywood just come up with new movies and stop remaking crappy ones?

Alec Baldwin wants off of 30 Rock, NBC says no |

According to Showbuzz Alec Baldwin asked NBC if he could be released from 30 Rock, so he can deal with his very publicized family issues. In a pre-taped interview with The View that will air on Friday he said, "If I never acted again I couldn't care less." He also added that he didn't want the people who work on the show to be hurt by what he said. NBC did not feel the same way and issued this statement, "Alec Baldwin remains an important part of '30 Rock.' We look forward to having him continue his role in the show." I think NBC made him stay on the show because without him the show would do worse than it already does. Plus he is the one that is winning them awards and they don't want to lose that. Plus by the time the show comes back next season, do you think we are still going to care about the call, sadly?

According to The Futon Critic, A&E is pulling Sons of Hollywood after they burn off the final 6 episodes in a 3 hour marathon this Sunday at noon. In my opinion Sons of Hollywood had some of the worst publicity by it's stars like Sean Stewart stripping on Malibu Beach and Randy Spelling claiming he took Paris Hilton's virginity, so I am not shocked that this show failed.

Fox put Drive in park |

Michael Ausiello is reporting that Fox has pulled Drive from the lineup and will replace it with repeats of House effective on Monday. No word whether Fox will air the final two episode on TV or on the Net.
Can I tell you I am so bummed about this I loved this show, one of my favorites from the new season. Oh well now I am only watching 3 things on Mondays at 8p!!!
