Seriously? OMG! WTF?

It’s time again to do some rumor control, suds fans! This week, NBC announced their decision to cancel Passions in order to add a fourth hour to Today. The Peacock network also made it clear that they’ll let go of Days of our Lives when their obligation to air the long-running sudser expires in 2009. (Read our in-depth report on the NBC news right here.) Now there’s widespread Internet buzz that ABC will copycat NBC’s move by adding a third hour to Good Morning America — and cancel either All My Children or One Life to Live to make room for more GMA on the network’s daytime schedule! "It is absolutely not true," an ABC spokesperson insists to TVGuide.com. "If ABC had an announcement to make, they would have made it last week at [the Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena]. We’re in a good position with our daytime dramas and moving forward full steam ahead."

NBC Entertainment prexy Kevin Reilly pulled a Moonves Thursday night. With no advance fanfare, Reilly briefly popped up in this week’s episode of the Peacock’s hit laffer "The Office." Reilly–whose cameo featured no lines and lasted about three seconds– played a prospective boss interviewing Dwight Schruth (Rainn Wilson) for a job. "Office" creator Greg Daniels, who directed Thursday’s seg, invited Reilly on the show last fall. Seg was filmed a couple months ago and hit the air with little advance fanfare. It’s no surprise Daniels would ask Reilly to appear. Peacock exec has been one of the show’s fiercest sup-porters, fighting to keep it on the air after its first batch of episodes barely registered in the ratings.

Jamiroquai is attempting to perform the highest ever concert. Jay Kay and his band will perform a ‘Gig In The Sky’ on February 27 aboard a Boeing 757 at 35,000 ft. The gig will be attended by a Guinness World Records official to see if the band can make the record. Jay Kay will take off from Munich in Germany, play a greatest hits set and then land at a secret location in Europe. In a statement he said: "No one has ever done a gig like this before. Rock ‘n’ roll is all about pushing the boundaries and ‘Gig In The Sky’ certainly does that."

I guess that is their way of proving they are still around because I thought they broke up last century? 

Gene Simmons has spoken out against rock legend Ozzy Osbourne and his family. The Kiss star said that he was tired of him and his family being compared to the Osbournes, after also granting television cameras access to all areas of his family life. He said: "My family is more structured and they behave properly. "My kids don’t take drugs, they’re well mannered and properly disciplined and I don’t go letting dogs poop on the carpet. "I’m not a drug addict, in fact I’ve never been drunk, don’t smoke, have never taken drugs and never will." When asked why he and long-term partner Shannon Tweed were not married, Simmons replied, "Shannon and I have been happily unmarried for 23 years. I lead my life my way. I am the Alpha male and what I say goes."

Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones? I am not sure but I think a lot of the problems that Kelly and Jack went through were after they started the show and The Simmons Family just finished season one…just saying?
