Donald Trump planning for his final hole-in-one…6 feet under
February 22nd, 2007 under Donald Trump. [ Comments: none ]

Donald Trump has plans to take his love affair with the golf course he owns in New Jersey into eternity. Trump said yesterday he envisions himself and family members buried in vaults of a mausoleum he proposes building to the right of the first hole at Trump National Bedminster. "Hopefully I'll be around for a long time and I won't have to worry about it, but it certainly could fit the bill," he said yesterday in a phone interview. Planning board and state officials yesterday could not immediately cite regulations for legally building a mausoleum that was not part of a religious or non-denominational cemetery. "In all my years on the planning board, I don't think I've ever seen an application for a mausoleum," said Bedminster Planning Board member Paul Henderson, who has served for more than 15 years on the panel. "Bedminster would approve the building, but the state would approve it as a burial site," Henderson said. According to a spokesman for the state Division of Consumer Affairs, which oversees the New Jersey Cemetery Board, "local zoning approvals are the first step." A mausoleum may need additional approvals from the board, which normally licenses and oversees religious and non-denominational public cemeteries, said the spokesman, Jeff Lamm. Faced with the possibility of a long approval process, Trump said he was willing to start off simple, by calling the mausoleum building a wedding chapel. "We're planning a mausoleum/chapel," Trump said. Trump said the course is so beautiful he envisioned it being a final resting place for himself and family members. The family also has a plot in Queens, N.Y. A few lucky Trump National golf club members also may end up with the privilege of being buried in one of the vaults, he said. "Where can you find anything more beautiful than this? The club is beautiful. Bedminster is beautiful," Trump said. Trump insisted he had no pressing need to build a mausoleum any time soon and assured that he was in "100 percent good health." "Just for the future," he said. "It's a good thing to plan."

I don't know about you, but I would not want to get married in what will someday be someone's permanent final resting place. And I really thought he would want to be buried someone more grand like the lobby of Trump Towers.

Why would someone want to steal Naomi Campbell’s identy?
February 22nd, 2007 under Naomi Campbell. [ Comments: none ]

The woman accused of stealing supermodel Naomi Campbell's identity at a string of recent celebrity parties has been named and shamed. The catwalk beauty was said to be "extremely concerned" about her imposter, after it emerged the fake Campbell tried to attend Oasis' Brit Awards after-show party last week. She was refused entry by the band member Noel Gallagher. Today it emerged the fraudster was professional Campbell lookalike Susan Sangster, 36. She apologised for the pranks, insisting, "(I) am so sorry if there's been any confusion. I'll certainly be setting the record straight from now on." Campbell retorts, "This girl doesn't even look like me. There is only one Naomi and it's a full-time job, let me tell you."

That is so true what Naomi Campbell said, and thank g-d for that! I wonder how Noel Gallagher was able to tell the difference, was the impostor not swinging a cell phone around?

Grey’s Anatomy spinoff will test in May with Taye Diggs.
February 22nd, 2007 under Shonda Rhimes. [ Comments: none ]

Taye Diggs will star opposite Kate Walsh in ABC's potential spinoff from hit medical drama "Grey's Anatomy." The show will test the waters as a back-door pilot, an expanded two-hour episode of "Grey's" slated to air in May. It will center on neonatal surgeon Addison Shepherd (Walsh), a character who has enjoyed a strong following from fans since she was introduced at the end of the hot surgical drama's first season. It is understood that the back-door pilot episode will feature Shepherd on the verge of leaving Seattle Grace, a scenario that will be triggered if ABC goes with the spinoff for next season. There were no details on the character Diggs will play. "Grey's" creator/executive producer Shonda Rhimes is writing the episode and is expected to shepherd the potential series.

This show is so going to get picked up for next year. ABC has a lot holes to fill and this show would definitely do better than a second season of Men in Tress or Brothers and Sisters.
