Jordan has blasted Madonna for using her celebrity status and wealth to adopt. The glamour model – who has two sons, Harvey, four, from her relationship with Dwight Yorke, and 17-month-old Junior with husband Pete Andre – says she is planning on adopting herself but would not expect special treatment like Madonna. The ‘Hung Up’ singer was granted temporary custody of 13-month-old Malawi baby David. Jordan – real name Katie Price – said: "I’d probably want a baby, so I could know them from the very beginning. But I don’t know about adopting abroad yet as it’s not something I’ve really looked into. I don’t think it’s right that just because you’re a celebrity and have money you should be able to adopt a baby that easily, particularly when you have people who can’t even have kids, who can’t adopt or are put on a long waiting list. Everyone should be treated equally." Jordan also claims Madonna’s decision has trivialised the whole adoption process and made it fashionable instead of commendable. She added: "Pete and I are definitely going to adopt, but not yet. We’ll have more of our own first. And at the moment I think it’s becoming a fashion, which I don’t like. I respect people adopting, but I don’t like that it’s becoming fashionable."

A source said: "Paris took Britney upstairs in her house where she fitted her in a blue tu-tu, and then Paris put on a matching tu-tu. "They then went downstairs and danced at Paris’s in-house stripper pole." Meanwhile, it has also surfaced that rap star PHARRELL WILLIAMS is furious with Britney for snubbing a music meeting with him. The soon-to-be divorced pop star was supposed to hook up with the NEPTUNES producer yesterday to discuss forthcoming projects. A Miami source said: "Pharrell takes this as a diss. "It’s bad. Pharrell even had a basket of gourmet cupcaes sent to the Marlin Recording Studio where they were to work on the album together!" Britney was also meant to be in Miami last weekend to work with producer SCOTT STORCH, but she cancelled because she said son SEAN PRESTON had an ear infection.

David Gest is planning to move to London when he finishes his stint on reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here. The music mogul and estranged husband of Liza Minnelli is sick of the media attention he gets in America, as opposed to the positive publicity his appearance on the jungle show has attracted in the UK. His bodyguard Imad Handi reveals, "He’s moving to London. He loves the fact that there’s not as much media coverage of him in the US. Once he decides where he wants to live, I’ll get a place nearby." Gest is producing a four-day concert, entitled David Gest’s New Year’s Weekend All-Star Soul Spectacular in London next month (28-31DEC06), which will feature performances from Candi Staton, Martha Reeves + The Vandellas, Bonnie Tyler and Peabo Bryson.

Diana DeGarmo, the Snellville singer who went from American Idol to Broadway, says she’s been the victim of an internet stalker who stole her identity and blackmailed her. The singer, currently starring in "Hairspray" on Broadway, says the stalker first contacted her through DeGarmo’s page on MySpace.com. Appearing Tuesday night on "The O’Reilly Factor" DeGarmo says the woman then bombarded her with email and Instant Messages. The stalker then got DeGarmo’s cell phone number and called her up to 60 times a day. The singer says the woman assumed her identity and used it on the internet to solict sex and drugs. DeGarmo told O’Reilly the woman then called her and asked for money to leave her alone. DeGarmo tracked the stalker to Australia and reported her to police there. So far no one has been arrested.

Heather Mills appears to have let slip further secrets of her £800 million divorce battle with Sir Paul McCartney. She’s been photographed clutching a ring folder on which she has scribbled a series of notes relating to her legal fight. The notes suggest she is seeking a highly unusual court order – which lawyers say is mainly obtained in domestic violence cases – to keep Sir Paul out of the ‘matrimonial home’. The notes, clearly in view to photographers as Ms Mills walked towards Victoria Station, are headed: "I’m seeking an order for occupation of the matrimonial home." It is then followed by three, numbered bullet points. The first says: "Continued access till divorce," while the second is illegible. The third refers to a "contempt of court" and beneath it is written "ex parte application". The final piece of the page on view contains the name "The Honourable Mrs Justice Baron". This implies the judge set to hear the case is Mrs Justice Baron QC, a brilliant divorce barrister appointed to the High Court in 2004. Before becoming a judge, Florence Baron acted in a number of high-profile divorce cases, representing among others Victoria Spencer in her divorce from Princess Diana’s brother Earl Spencer. It is not the first time Ms Mills has revealed details of the case. It was discovered she was being represented by Mishcon de Reya, the firm that represented Princess Diana in her divorce case, when a folder with the firm’s name emblazoned upon it was photographed on her knee. A leading family lawyer said today an occupation order was rare and usually only made in cases where domestic violence was a major issue. It is likely the order refers to her current home in Hove rather than the house in Peasmarsh, East Sussex, where McCartney lives.
