Who is going to go with me? I am so glad he won! I knew the winner was going to be someone from Chilltown. I just wish Chicken George would’ve got the money over Janelle.

Now that we have seen Suri Cruise, will we see a wedding anytime soon?
September 13th, 2006 under Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes/Suri. [ Comments: none ]

He’s an actor whose movie plots typically revolve around romance, action and a healthy dose of suspense. So it’s no wonder that Tom Cruise, 44, has kept the details of his next production – his wedding to 27-year-old Katie Holmes – closely under wraps. Holmes friend Andrea Bernholtz, president of the Rock & Republic fashion line, tells Us Weekly, “All I really know is that the wedding is soon! They will surprise us all.” Us has learned exclusively that after a 15-month engagement, the couple have finally set their wedding date. “It’s going to happen in the next three to six weeks,” a source close to the twosome tells Us. Adds the couple’s rep, Arnold Robinson, “The wedding is still in the planning stages. They’re really excited about it. They have always said they will be married by the early fall, and they are still in that window. They can’t wait.”

Let the wedding watch begin.

Jane Fonda slams Lindsay Lohan
September 12th, 2006 under Jane Fonda, Lindsay Lohan. [ Comments: none ]

Jane Fonda praised a studio executive’s recent scolding of Lindsay Lohan for her absences on the set of their film, Georgia Rule. "I think every once in a while, a very, very young person who is burning both ends of the candle needs to have somebody say: ‘You know, you’re going to pay the piper, you better slow down.’ So I think it was good," the 68-year-old actress told "Access Hollywood" in an interview to air Tuesday. In July, James Robinson, CEO of Morgan Creek Productions, chided Lohan, 20, in a letter for her behaviour on a movie set and doubted her absence was related to heat exhaustion. "We are well aware that your ongoing all-night, heavy partying is the real reason for your so-called ‘exhaustion,"’ he wrote. Fonda agrees. "She’s in the magazines, so you always know what she’s doing because you can just read about it in the tabloids," she said. "She parties all the time…And you know, she’s young and she can get away with it. But, you know, it’s hard after a while to party very hard and work very hard." "She learned that, I hope." Lohan’s publicist, Leslie Sloane, did not immediately return an e-mail late Tuesday. Lohan plays a troubled teen in "Georgia Rule," which co-stars Fonda and Felicity Huffman. The film, currently in production, is expected to be released next year. Fonda is still sympathetic toward Lohan, who is estranged from her imprisoned father Michael Lohan. "I just want to take her in my arms and hold her until she becomes grown-up," she said. "She’s so young and she’s so alone out there in the world in terms of structure and, you know, people to nurture her. And she’s so talented."

Jam!

Ouch, being slammed by Jane Fonda has gotta hurt.

Real mummified body found on the CSI: New York set
September 12th, 2006 under CBS. [ Comments: none ]

Things got a bit too realistic on the set of CSI: New York on Tuesday, where an actual mummified body was discovered inside the building where production was underway. Though downtown Los Angeles was subbing for the streets of New York, the corpse was real, a source close to the show tells PEOPLE, who says the remains were found on the 5th floor of the building – only two floors below the actors and film crew. The body, the source says, "was discovered by a building engineer who checked on the tenant because he had not paid rent for the month." Making matters weirder is that the show has already shot an episode revolving around the discovery of a mummified body. Though the show’s stars – Gary Sinise and Melina Kanakaredes – were not on location at the time of the discovery, day players and the stunt people were. Police and representatives from the coroner’s office, who will perform an autopsy, soon joined them.

People

I wonder if they were called in to investigate the guy’s death?

Will Rock Star Supernova tour under the name Supernova?
September 12th, 2006 under Rock Star: Supernova. [ Comments: none ]

So remember this story from about a month ago:

The members of Orange County, California, punk trio Supernova filed for a preliminary injunction Friday (August 11) in San Diego’s U.S. District Court against CBS Broadcasting, Mark Burnett Productions and Tommy Lee, Jason Newsted and Gilby Clarke the three future members of the band searching for a lead singer on the show "Rock Star: Supernova" — which seeks to halt the act from performing or recording under the name "Supernova" if they fail to change or add any words to the moniker. The filing follows a suit the original Supernova — bassist Art Mitchell, drummer Dave Collins and guitarist Jodey Lawrence — filed against the show’s producers in late June, which alleged trademark infringement. That suit seeks a jury trial, as well as the destruction of all "labels, signs, prints, packages, wrappers, containers, advertisements, electronic media and other materials bearing the Supernova mark."

VH1
Well I am hearing that yesterday they had their day in court and the original Supernova won. So it will be interesting to see what name the Rock Star Supernova band will use for the tour? I am also hearing we might even get the new name as early as tomorrow?

What do you think would be a good name for them to use? I say Motley’s Metal Roses and Lukas!
