Seriously? OMG! WTF?

The death of Anna Nicole Smith’s 20-year-old son, Daniel, in the Bahamas Sunday was not due to natural causes, PEOPLE has learned exclusively. "The cause of death is not natural," Her Majesty’s Coroner Linda P. Virgill tells PEOPLE. "However, we wish to reserve the cause of death at this time pending the toxicologist examination and report for confirmation of cause of death. Friday is the likely release date for the autopsy and toxicology report." Daniel Smith was found sitting upright in a chair after going to see his mother and his new half-sister in the private Doctors Hospital in Nassau, Reginald Ferguson, assistant commissioner of the Royal Bahamas Police Force, told reporters late Monday. "It would appear from our report that the mother had gotten up, saw him in the chair and he appeared to be sound asleep. She tried to wake him up, he was unresponsive and she sounded the alarm," Ferguson said. According to Virgill, a coroner’s inquest with a jury will take place, and Anna Nicole Smith will likely be asked for her testimony. "All persons who are relevant witnesses, like his mother and hospital staff and airline personnel who had contact with him, would have to testify," Virgill says. "The inquest would happen late October or early November to determine how, when and by what manner Daniel came to his death." She continued, "The family wishes to return the body to the United States, but it won’t be released until the reports are in."

Tonight is our second to last Rockstar episode… Tomorrow is the finale and then that’s it. This blog goes back to the way it was, I focus on music (after a week’s vacation somewhere), the photo exhibit, radio, The Product and touring. Tonight on the show, we hear the remaining four do a cover and their originals again. Also, the winner of the online vote for a return performance comes back to do a song. Pretty basic stuff. There is one bit of online speculation that is kind of fun to address, if nothing else. However, when gossip bloggers become pseudo online celebs, it’s only obvious that they will wake up one morning in a glass house. I will give Janet this… She does have pictures of herself on her site and contact info. If a gossip columnist is willing to be that available, then they are in my book, a notch above all the others. In fact, I think that entertainment critics should be obligated to have their picture and a list of their top 5 favorite films, book and records made available. That way, we can decide if we even give a fuck where they are coming from. Anyway, back to the point. Janet says promotional pictures have been taken. In this digital age where we can crank out pictures in about 30 seconds and have them up and online in about 10, why would anyone even bother going through a charade such as that? In fact, what would be the point in scamming the public anyway? The Supernova guys have the final word either way. They can choose, three months ago or tomorrow and have the exact same outcome. Someone gets eliminated tomorrow and then we will have a final three, one of which Supernova chooses as their singer. At this point, I am over all the gossip, conspiracy and rumor surrounding the show. It’s just fun for me to watch and comment on from time to time. Think what you want to think. You think it’s fixed? Fine. You think certain contestants were misrepresented? OK. Awesome! After tonight’s episode, my ON AIR job is pretty much done. No more comments or critiquing to do. Tomorrow, I just kick it on the couch, watch it unfold just like the viewers at home and check out Supernova do some songs with their new singer. As far as speculations go, I still stand behind where I was a few days ago. I think that Lukas and Dilana have the best shots at winning this thing. I think they are both unique and edgy with killer voices and could both do the job extremely well. Even though Toby and Magni are arguably better singers in some ways, there are certain elements that I think they lack in order to fill the position. Frankly, to me, they are just less compelling to watch on stage. The good news is all of them are more than likely going to be on the tour in some capacity… Either as Supernova’s lead singer or performing with the House Band.

On some TV shows, the best moments happen off camera. That’s the idea of ‘Studio 60.’ Writer Aaron Sorkin (’The West Wing’) offers this crackling take on the drama behind the humor of producing a late-night comedy sketch show. The writing is inspired, the casting is ingenious (Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford, Amanda Peet, D.L. Hughley and Steven Weber) and the acting is brilliant.

I so love Steven Weber, so after I post this I am going to watch the show! 

I’ve always held a special place in my heart for CNN anchor Thomas Roberts, so I was interested to read a report by Beantown Cuban from the annual National Gay and Lesbian Journalists Association conference that was held in Miami this month. If he hadn’t made his sexuality known before, he reportedly let it all out in Miami, announcing that the conference was the "biggest step" he had taken to really being out in public, and that he had slowly been coming out at CNN over the years.Beantown Cuban reports that Roberts (who caused a lot of "swooning in the hotel’s hallways" – no doubt) said he was proud of his partner, and said something that might be taken as words of wisdom to one of his fellow anchors:"When you hold something back, that’s all everyone wants to know.’’Bravo to Roberts. And if you haven’t tuned in to Headline News to see him, you’d best be touching that dial.

Towel Road 

Thomas Roberts and Kathleen Kennedy’s 4 to 6pm newscast is being cancelled. (It’s unclear what Roberts and Kennedy will be doing now.) The other two dayparts will expand by an hour each, so Mike Galanos and Christi Paul will anchor from 10am to 2pm, and Chuck Roberts and Linda Stouffer will anchor from 2 to 6pm. The 4 to 6pm staff will be absorbed into the other dayparts.
