"Built To Kill, Part One" — When an aspiring dancer is murdered backstage during Cirque du Soleil’s KA show, the CSIs investigate what goes on behind-the-scenes to uncover the truth, on part one of the two part seventh season premiere of CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, Thursday, Sept. 21 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Grammy Award-winning recording artist John Mayer makes a cameo appearance, performing two new songs from his third studio album, Continuum. Mayer performs his current single, "Waiting on the World to Change," as well as "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room," for Catherine and Nick at a nightclub.Danny Bonaduce ("The Partridge Family") also guest stars as an ex-rocker who ends up a murder victim. The CSIs investigate first-hand the behind-the-scenes action of Cirque du Soleil in order to determine what may have contributed to the young dancer’s untimely death. Meanwhile, after Catherine and Nick visit a nightclub where John Mayer is performing, Catherine finds herself in jeopardy and must act as her own CSI in order to determine who may be targeting her and her family. Also, Grissom is perplexed after receiving an uncanny miniature replica of the crime scene he is investigating.

OK. We hammered Dilana pretty good the other night. I got into it with her about her comments and she caved quite a bit. I do, however, appreciate that she owned up to it all eventually and because of that I can forgive her. These kids don’t live in the real world and they really have lost touch with the fact that anything really exists beyond the house and the show. The fact remains, she simply fucked up. At the end of the day, it’s not really a big deal. I can’t tell you how many times I have fucked up over the years. A story or article will come out that I did and I will cringe reading back my own words. We taught her a lesson. One I am sure she will never forget. For me, it’s over and I think it is time to move on. Let’s focus again on the singing and the talent onstage. The press clinic was just that. A clinic. It was there to learn from and I think nobody learned more than she did. Honestly, you think that Tommy has always contained himself in the press? Hahaha! You think I have? No way dude! In fact, I am currently in Toronto doing a press junket and I can almost promise you that I will say something stupid at some point! It just happens. I am not back peddling here I am simply saying that we should get over it and cut her a little slack. It’s all part of the audition process. At the end of the day, Dilana is one of the strongest performers on the show and I am a huge fan of her talent.

"We’re not supposed to talk about it."Springsteen and the woman – who is a redhead, just like Scialfa – have been spotted several times at the Beacon Hill Beach Club in Monmouth, N.J., said one local source. The two have also been spotted at the Stone Pony, the Asbury Park watering hole from Springsteen’s Glory Days.The widow is said to be a member of the swank Atlantic Club gym in Red Bank. Her children attend the exclusive Ranney School in Tinton Falls with Springsteen’s kids.But a Bruce pal said, "He’s just a really big flirt. There’s nothing going on." Another friend said, "Bruce and Patti are very much partners. They go at it a lot and fight, but they also work at it a lot . . . Patti is a strong woman. They are not going anywhere."Springsteen and Scialfa vacationed with their children in upstate New York last month, but in recent weeks, he has been spotted alone with his kids at a local beach. Pals said he’s been spending less time at the family’s Rumson home and more time at a guest house on the couple’s farm in Colts Neck, about 20 minutes away. Mel Gibson has decided to make good with the Jewish community, one Jew at a time.TMZ has learned that Gibson has been calling entertainment industry honchos with whom he’s worked in the past and apologizing for his anti-Semitic rant the morning of his DUI arrest.Two of the people he called say Gibson told them that he wanted them to know that he was really sorry and he was working on his "problem." Gibson also said that he hoped he would be able to work with them again.The two people who gave the debrief on Gibson’s conversation to TMZ say that they were less than moved by the actor’s apology. One said he was civil to Gibson but was unconvinced that Gibson has changed his stripes.Gibson has declined offers to speak before larger groups. His publicist says the actor is consumed with his recovery at the moment and cannot deal with other matters until he gets his life under control.It is unclear why Gibson began making the calls, however his rep has told TMZ that his client was in a recovery program, which includes a 12-step program to sobriety. Step #9 is making amends. If Gibson is on Step #9, he clearly is on the fast track.
