Despite the staggering offer, the singer says she was reluctant to share herself with millions of male readers. She says, "My body is for me and my love interest, and that’s the only person who gets to see it."

Original DALLAS star LINDA GRAY has blasted Hollywood’s plans to bring the veteran soap to the big screen. GURINDER CHADHA is set to direct JOHN TRAVOLTA as JR EWING and JENNIFER LOPEZ in Gray’s former role as SUE ELLEN in the forthcoming movie. However, Gray doesn’t believe that the movie can capture the same cult interest that they managed to 28 years ago. The actress says, "It they can achieve in two hours what we achieved in 11 years, good luck to them. "I do think, come on, this is Hollywood. Be unique! Create something new."

Pink Floyd legend Syd Barrett has died at his Cambridgeshire home.
The singer, 60, who suffered from an LSD-induced breakdown while at the peak of his career in the Sixties, died last Friday (July 7) from complications related to diabetes.
His brother Alan confirmed his death today (July 11), telling The Guardian: "He died peacefully at home. There will be a private family funeral in the next few days."
A spokeswoman for Pink Floyd has confirmed the news.
‘Syd’ Barrett was born Roger Keith Barrett in Cambridge on January 6, 1946, the youngest of five children. A keen musician from an early age, he acquired the nickname which became his most prominent moniker aged 15, a reference to another Cambridge musician, also named Sid Barrett.
Barrett formed Pink Floyd along with Roger Waters, Nick Mason and Rick Wright in 1965, reputedly naming the band after two blues artists, Pink Anderson and Floyd Council, who had a place in his record collection.

Nielsen Media Research plans to measure how many people actually watch TV commercials starting in November, a move that could result in a decline in advertising rates, The Wall Street Journal said on Tuesday.Nielsen, which tracks what people watch on television, plans to provide for the first time ratings for TV ads, the Journal said. At the moment Nielsen rates entire television programs, on which TV ads feature.Both TV networks and advertisers expect Nielsen’s new tracking to show viewership drops noticeably when commercials are broadcast during a program, which could fuel advertisers’ push for changes in how ads are incorporated into shows.A drop in viewership could also accelerate the flow of advertising dollars out of television to the Internet and new digital media, the newspaper said.

Parise, Roger Spottiswoode, Nicholas Tabarrok and Magnet Management are producing; Jordan Gertner and Michael Jaffe exec produce. Also a singer, Manning is prepping a solo album and is expected to contribute songs to "Jack and Jill."Parise last directed indie "Kiss the Bride."
