What in the desperate hell is VH-1 tryin to pull now?? As if Flavor Flav’s reality show wasn’t enough…now they’re doing a casting call for a NEW show called THE FLAVORETTE. Here’s the posting from Craig’s List:

OMG and I was so excited that Flavor of Love returns on Sunday, but now I am screaming for joy! 

MATTHEW Perry isn’t making any friends with geriatric neighbors in his Beverly Hills apartment building, Sierra Towers. One called to complain, "He never responds when we say hello! Every time one of us walks into the elevator and he is there, we always say ‘hi’ because it is nice and neighborly, and he always looks away and ignores us. Most people don’t know who he is – they didn’t watch ‘Friends,’ they watched ‘Golden Girls.’ Who does he think he is?" Perry’s rep declined to comment.

Guns n’ Roses frontman Axl Rose was taken ill on Sunday night (July 30), during the final UK date of the band’s current tour.The singer left the Wembley Arena stage and was replaced by Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach for the songs ‘Night Train ‘Paradise City’.A UK representative for Guns N’ Roses could not confirm the specific details behind Rose’s illness.

THE producers of "American Idol" are angry about suggestions in the upcoming Fantasia Barrino movie on Lifetime that they pushed her to quit because she was an unwed mother."Certainly, under no circumstances was she ever approached to be talked out of taking part in [the show]," "Idol" executive producer Ken Warwick told The Post. "We knew she had a baby right from Day One, and she was always strongly tipped to win the competition because she was so good. "I can absolutely refute that nothing was done, or even remotely suggested to her that she shouldn’t take part in the competition," he said."It’s a complete fabrication."The Post reported on Friday that the biographical movie – called "Fantasia: Life is Not a Fairy Tale" and set to air in mid-August – about her unlikely rise to the top of the pop music world in 2004, hints that the producers of the show subtly pres sured her to quit.In the film’s opening scene, a surprised Fantasia – who plays herself in the movie – is stopped coming off stage from the show’s weekly telecast and told a producer wants to see her in her dressing room.The "Idol" producer asks if she’s read the Internet chatter about her – that she was an unwed teenage mother and a high-school dropout and that she was not a role model as the next Idol. The producer then suggests no one would blame the then-19-year-old if she decided to quit the show."It’s absolutely and totally untrue," Warwick says. "I’m the executive producer, Nigel [Lythgoe] is the other executive producer and nobody – to my knowledge – would have said anything like that to her."In the film, the executive is not identified other than by a first name, Ed. (No producer with that first name is listed in the show’s credits.)The scene serves as a set-up for the rest of the film – a flashback to her roughshod upbringing in small-town North Carolina and the road to the "Idol" finals.The dressing-room conference comes back near the end of the movie – where again she is offered the option to get off the show. Of course, she turns it down and goes on to win the 2004 edition of the show.Fantasia’s representatives did not make her available for an interview over the weekend.

MICHAEL HUTCHENCE’s mother PATRICIA GLASSOP claims her granddaughter TIGER LILY wants to leave her home in Britain with her half-sisters and adoptive father SIR BOB GELDOF, to live with her Australian family. Tiger Lily, 10, was orphaned in September 2000 when her mother PAULA YATES died of an accidental drug overdose. The youngster’s father, INXS frontman Hutchence, committed suicide in a Sydney hotel room in November 1997. Following Yates’ death, her ex-husband SIR BOB GELDOF was made legal guardian of Tiger Lily and is currently bringing her up alongside her half-sisters FIFI, PEACHES and PIXIE. However, Glassop, who lives in the Queensland region of Australia, claims her granddaughter has decided she wants to move to Australia following a visit down under in April (06), when she was accompanied by Geldof. Glassop tells Australian magazine New Idea that Tiger Lily phoned her recently from London and said, "I love you and Grandpa and I want to live with you." Glassop reveals Tiger Lily is getting inquisitive about her late father, saying, "She would look at photos of her dad as a 10-year-old in his Boy Scout uniform, gently run her fingers over the pictures and ask us to tell her another story about him."

I never understood why Bob Geldof got custody of her when he is most likely the big reason her father committed suicide and her mother died of a drug overdose.
