July 21st, 2006 under Beyoncé. [ Comments: none ]

Beyoncé has been told to remake her latest music video – by her fans.A collective group of her followers signed a petition and sent it to her record label, claiming the current video is below par.The petition said: "The video is an underwhelming representation of the talent and quality of previous music video projects of Ms Knowles," website TMZ.com reports. "The editing causes one to get dizzy and disorientated. The dancing is erratic, confusing and alarming. Her outfits are unbelievable and ridiculous." The single behind the video is a collaboration between the singer and boyfriend Jay-Z, and the on-screen behavior of the two is another cause for concern for the fans: "The sexual themes between the duo are alarming and show unacceptable interactions between the two."

Did CNN cut this ABC joke?
July 21st, 2006 under TV News. [ Comments: none ]

A gay joke that pokes fun at CNN anchor Anderson Cooper in a new ABC sitcom is expected to end up on the cutting room floor. The show, "Help Me Help You," stars Ted Danson as a troubled psychotherapist who has a patient (played by Jim Rash) who is described as a "self-avowed metro-sexual who is in serious denial that he might possibly be gay."In a tape of the show sent to critics, the character whines, "I’m gay. I’m super gay. And I guess that makes Anderson Cooper gay, too.""They [producers] just kept saying, ‘Just keep improving names that could be gay,’ " Rash told TV critics this week.Cooper’s sexuality has been debated in the media for years. Anderson has never confirmed or denied the reports."I just don’t talk about my personal life," he recently told New York magazine."The whole thing about being a reporter is that you’re supposed to be an observer and to be able to adapt with any group you’re in, and I don’t want to do anything that threatens that," he said."Help Me Help You" executive producer Jennifer Konner told TV critics this week that the joke is likely to be cut out of the show. No one from CNN has complained, she said. The episode simply was running too long.

It is hard for me to type right now, i have been so honoured with your amazing kindness, my tears unfortunately will not stop. i will be writing to each and every one of you to say thank you as soon as I can. Remember, no obstacle is so great that it should ever keep you from your dream. "Believe and in your heart you know, that no one can change the path that you must go."
I love you all, thank you, I have never known such love in my life. thank you.

I will miss him and sexy accent. And Malan I would be your friend! He seems like such a cool guy, kind of reminds of Tim Curry circa Annie.

Randy Spelling clears up the rumors
July 20th, 2006 under Aaron/Candy/Tori Spelling. [ Comments: none ]

While the entertainment industry mourns the loss of TV titan Aaron Spelling, headlines around the world claim the Spelling clan is in the midst a mounting family feud. Aaron’s son, Randy Spelling, sat down exclusively with "Extra" to set the record straight and clear the air about stories swirling around the Spelling manor. "The day after if happened, I woke up, I couldn’t breathe, he’s not here," Randy said about his father’s death on June 23. "My family’s doing well; it’s been rough on everyone. In all honesty, I miss him a lot." But as the Spelling family remembers their beloved husband and father, they are also being sucked into the center of countless whispers that they’re at war. "There are misconceptions about so much feuding and stuff going on," Randy said. "C’mon guys it’s been a few weeks, we just want to be a normal family and get through this together." Despite the hardships of the loss of his father, Randy is keeping busy shooting a new reality show for A&E, debuting in January, called "Sons of Hollywood." Think real-life "Entourage," where actors Randy and his high-profile buds, including Rod Stewart’s son Sean, live out their showbiz lives in front of the camera. Randy said he’s doing the show to clear up misconceptions about him, such as he’s a "spoiled brat rich kid and everything has been handed to me on a silver platter with a silver spoon." Since his Dad’s passing, one of the nagging rumors is that one of the most opulent houses in America, the Spelling Manor, is on the market for $150 million. "I don’t know, you can’t believe everything you read," Randy said, insisting the house is not up for sale. Then there is the shocking question of his sister Tori, who is reportedly pregnant with new husband Dean McDermott’s child. "I haven’t heard that, it’s news to me," Randy said. "As far as I know, it’s not true."
