Yesterday, All That’s Lori Beth Denberg, Kel Mitchell, and Danny Tamberelli were on After Midnight. Since the Nickelodeon sketch debuted when host Taylor Tomlinson was just a baby (feel old), she wanted them to reveal secrets about each other.
Lori Beth wasted no time revealing that Mitchell doesn’t like nor drink orange soda, which is his Good Burger character’s favorite drink. I am sure Crush is crushed by the actress’ reveal.
If that is not embarrassing enough for Mitchell, he told a story about a time he got into an argument at the Gap.
He couldn’t find his sunglasses, so he was arguing with the cashier about her not helping him find them. In fact, she just kept staring at the top of his head and laughing. Why? Because that is where they were. So he apologized, left the store, and never went back. At least, I assume, he never went back because I would not even go back to that mall after that.
Dance Moms’ Christi Lukasiak is in the news, and not for a reason she wants. She was arrested on suspicion of DUI on June 27th in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
According to TMZ, she crashed into a tree, and a telephone pole was left hanging over her car.
The documents related to the case said that she said had two glasses of wine. Police officers on the scene did a breathalyzer test which she failed.
Lukasiak hosted the Dance Moms spinoff Epic Showdowns in May.
Loot is an endearing comedy on Apple TV+ that should not be as good as it is. But it is great, funny and full of heart.
The streaming service knows they have something special with the comedy, which stars Maya Rudolph as a billionaire who donates her money to help others and the people helping her do it, so they picked it up for a third season.
“We are thrilled to come back for a third season,” said Maya Rudolph and Danielle Renfrew Behrens of Banana Split Projects. “We’re extremely fortunate to spend more time with our talented cast and crew. Making this show with Apple TV+ has been a joy, and we can’t wait to reunite with our ‘Loot’ family.”
“With each season, ‘Loot’ continues to deliver joy, laughs and endearing characters for audiences around the world,” said Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV+. “We are excited to partner with Maya Rudolph, and the entire cast and creative team behind ‘Loot,’ to create even more heartfelt moments with an ensemble of fan-favorite characters in season three.”
If you missed the first two seasons, stream them before season three airs. You will fall in love with it like everyone who watches it.
Tenacious D is on the road, and they played Sydney, Australia, on Sunday, which happens to be Kyle Gass’ birthday. So Jack Black brought out a cake and got the audience to sing Happy Birthday to his friend.
When they were done, Black asked Glass to make a wish. His wish was, “Don’t miss Trump next time.”
Needless to say, that comment on the public stage did not go over well. So today, Black made an announcement, “I was blindsided by what was said at the show on Sunday. I would never condone hate speech or encourage political violence in any form,” he wrote. “After much reflection, I no longer feel it is appropriate to continue the Tenacious D tour, and all future creative plans are on hold. I am grateful to the fans for their support and understanding.”
This is the difference between Democrats and Republicans. The former takes responsibility for the mistakes.
UPDATE: Kyle Gass released his own statement: “The line I improvised onstage Sunday night in Sydney was highly inappropriate, dangerous and a terrible mistake. I don’t condone violence of any kind, in any form, against anyone. What happened was a tragedy, and I’m incredibly sorry for my severe lack of judgement. I profoundly apologize to those I’ve let down and truly regret any pain I’ve caused.”
