Johnny Depp is getting into the Christmas spirit this year, or should I say that the Christmas spirit is getting to him? That is because the actor is going to play Scrooge in Ebeneezer this holiday season.
Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is being told once again, but this time through the mind of Ti West.
I used to be excited whenever a Johnny Depp film came out. But now he plays the same eccentric character in every role that he does. Therefore, I will be skipping this movie even though I love the story.
Ebeneezer haunts theaters starting on November 13th.
Before Jaleel White was a lover and not a fighter on Family Matters, he was a fighter on Cadets. How cute was the 11-year-old in that 1988 failed pilot?
I don’t know about you, but I hate using band-aids because they hurt coming off. What if there were a way to make removing them less painful…mentally?
Antix™ LLC has done that with Brandage™. The bandages come with a temporary tattoo which is only revealed when you take them off. Therefore, you look forward to ripping them off your skin.
Actually, you don’t rip them off. When it is time to say goodbye to them, you wet the bandage to separate the fake ink, and that also loosens the adhesive from your skin. Thus causing less pain.
“Every parent knows it can be challenging to convince a child to wear and remove an adhesive bandage,” said Steven Friedman, founder of Antix LLC. “I wanted to create something that changed that experience completely. Instead of dreading removal, kids actually look forward to discovering the tattoo underneath. It’s a simple idea that makes a real difference for families.”
Forget kids, this is going to be my new go-to bandage. Because I refuse to grow up.
Even though David Zaslav made like the Road Runner and tried to kill Coyote vs. ACME like it was the Coyote, the villain was not successful. The live-action/animated movie was saved by Ketchup Entertainment, and it will be seeing the light of movie screens next month.
Today, they released the final trailer for the anticipated film, and I can’t wait to see it. Not only as a fuck you to Zaslav, but also because it looks fun. Who doesn’t love Will Forte and Looney Tunes?
So go see the comedy when it comes out on August 28th; let’s show Warner Bros what a fuck up Zaslav is and that he needs to be out of work already.
Apple TV announced today that The Morning Show is back in production for its fifth season. That is the good news. The bad news is that the streamer also revealed it will be the series’ final one.
The news drama, which stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, has always taken place in the past. It looks like this season they were going to catch up to our current timeline, so it feels like a good time to end.
“From the beginning, Apple has supported our vision for ‘The Morning Show,’ and we feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to tell stories that reflect what’s happening in the world around us with a twist of dark humor,” said star and executive producer Jennifer Aniston. “It’s been such a privilege to work with this insanely talented cast, and our extraordinary writers, producers, and crew. We’ve become such a family and we’re all so excited to share this final season. And going in knowing it would be our last, we were so fortunate to craft the conclusion with intentionality, and honor these characters the way they deserve.”
“The past nine years producing and acting in ‘The Morning Show’ have been the honor of a lifetime,” said star and executive producer Reese Witherspoon. “This was always more than a show about a newsroom — it was a show about why the newsroom matters. About freedom of the press, and the journalists who protect the fourth estate, often at great cost. Telling that story has been the creative privilege of my career. Thank you to Apple for their unwavering support, to our visionary writers, our incredible crew, and our extraordinarily talented cast, who brought five seasons to life with a truth audiences believed every step of the way. It has been a stellar creative experience — one I will always treasure.”
