Seriously? OMG! WTF?

CBS released the full trailer for the latest NCIS spinoff in the franchise. This one stars LL Cool J, but this time he is in NYC with Scott Caan as his partner.

In NCIS: NEW YORK, legendary NCIS Agent Sam Hanna (LL COOL J) returns to his hometown of New York City to their field office, partnering with roguish agent Nick Schaeffer (Caan) and helping lead a new team as they are tasked with high-stakes missions to defend one of the most vital cities and ports in the world.

LL Cool J played Hanna in NCIS: Los Angeles from 2009-2023. It will be interesting to see whether Chris O’Donnell makes a cameo at some point.

Shailene Woodley won the Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series during the Creative Emmys for her acting in Paradise, and her outfit looks post-apocalyptic, like the show.

The actress was dressed in a Balenciaga ensemble. The top was a loose-fitting periwinkle tank top with a V-neck that went down to her belly button, which was not flattering for her bra-free boobs. Her arms were covered in what was most likely faux-leather maroon gloves that went just above her elbows. And ill-fitting, floor-length, flowing gold pants covered in sequins and gems.

Each item clashed with the others, and the bohemian, oversized, multi-color gem necklace only made the look even more traumatic than her death scene.

I know I am being overly harsh, but the Emmys left me in a grumpy mood.

I love Mariska Hargitay, who doesn’t? But the writers did an awful job from the opening number song to the end, and everything in between. Was that Nick Offerman joke supposed to be funny? Were they mad at Taylor Swift for not being invited to her wedding that they wrote that shitty skit that was deader than most of the victims on Law & Order: SVU?

And let’s talk about the winners. Widow’s Bay is NOT A COMEDY. Did you laugh once? Seriously, am I the only one who wasn’t impressed with that alleged comedy? I have seen that show many times before, and it was told better. But what do I know; I grew up on Horror and Comedies.

Bill Lawrence and Dan Fogelman were robbed. How did their shows Shrinking, Rooster, Paradise, and Only Murders in the Building get ignored by the voters on Emmy night?

And you know who else was ignored? The lovable Ernest Harden Jr who won Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmy Awards. It was the 73-year-old’s first Emmy in a nearly 50-year career. And he has been loving every moment of it. It would have been as cute to see him yesterday as watching Marcello Hernandez present.

OK. I feel better.
