It’s shrimp season at Red Lobster
August 17th, 2026 under Red Lobster. [ Comments: none ]

Crab season is over, and get ready for something equally as yummy from the sea. While everyone else is getting ready for pumpkin season, Red Lobster launched Endless Shrimp season today in their restaurants.

Patrons can choose from five dishes:

  • NEW! Garlic Bread-Crusted Shrimp – Crispy shrimp coated in a buttery, garlic bread crumb crust, and served with marinara sauce.
  • Shrimp Linguini Alfredo – Tender shrimp tossed in creamy house-made Alfredo sauce over linguini.
  • Garlic Shrimp Scampi – Shrimp sautéed in a garlic and lemon butter sauce.
  • Parrot Isle Coconut Shrimp – Hand-breaded jumbo coconut shrimp served with piña colada sauce.
  • Walt’s Favorite Shrimp – Hand-breaded, butterflied shrimp lightly fried and served with cocktail sauce.

“Our guests were thrilled to have Endless Shrimp back this spring and made it clear they wanted more — so we listened,” said Damola Adamolekun, CEO of Red Lobster. “We proved we could bring it back in a way that delights our guests and works for our restaurant teams and our business. Now we’re bringing our fans more of the Endless experience they asked for.”

Hopefully, it won’t cause them to go bankrupt again because I loved all the shrimp I can eat.

Hollywood Arts gets a premiere date
August 17th, 2026 under Dan Schneider. [ Comments: none ]

Victorious’ least popular character is getting a spinoff on Netflix. Today, the streamer dropped a trailer for Hollywood Arts, and we can see what it will be like when Trina Vega (Daniella Monet) returns to the performing high school.

In this all-new series, struggling actress Trina Vega (Daniella Monet) returns to her former high school, Hollywood Arts, as an unqualified substitute teacher, quickly finding herself both clashing with and unexpectedly inspiring a new generation of ambitious and talented students as they learn to find their true path at Hollywood’s most elite performing arts school.

The sequel is set to premiere on October 15th.

Fun fact: The show is created by Jake Farrow, who was also on Victorious. Well, not in front of the camera. He voiced Rex Powers, Robbie Shapiro’s ventriloquist dummy. And he was also a writer and producer on the OG show. That gives me some hope that it won’t suck as much as the iCarly sequel series and Zoey 102.

Do you miss the Gilmore Girls and think that there are more stories for them to tell? And do you want to tell them? Then you can with the Little People set, which includes 2.5″ little figures of Rory, Lorelai, and Emily Gilmore, and Luke Danes.

The four of them come in a box that has the Stars Hollow gazebo in the background because that is where every character winds up or should be.

The set will be available for a limited time.

August 17th, 2026 under Alan Cumming, NBC. [ Comments: none ]

NBC is doing an all-civilian cast of The Traitors, and today the network released the first trailer for the competition show.

In the trailer, we get to see if the contestants are as cutthroat as the celebrities on the Peacock version. And they might actually be worse. So, I will be watching as they do whatever it takes to win.

The Traitors: New Blood with host Alan Cumming premieres on September 17th with a two-hour episode.
