BTWF: Bryan Cranston on Loving
March 10th, 2025 under Before They Were Famous, Bryan Cranston. [ Comments: none ]

Before Bryan Cranston was all about Lois on Malcolm in the Middle, he was about another woman on Loving. He looks the same now as he did when he was 27 in that 1983 episode.

Is Chuck Norris really 85?
March 10th, 2025 under Are they really their age?, Chuck Norris. [ Comments: none ]

Today is Chuck Norris’ 85th birthday, and I bet you the action star could still kick almost everyone’s ass! And still look great doing it.

“It’s my 85th birthday today, and what better way to celebrate it than with a wonderful time here in Kauai?” he added. “As I look back on my life, I’m so incredibly grateful for the remarkable adventures and wonderful people I’ve met along the way. Time may move quickly, but the moments we create together last a lifetime. Here’s to the journey ahead.”

And may he have many more journeys and moments ahead of him!

Who will win, Steamboat Willie or Winnie-the-Pooh in The Dark Domain?
March 10th, 2025 under Movies. [ Comments: none ]

There is a little thing called the public domain. That is when something from the art or entertainment would ages out of copyright and it can be used by anyone at no cost.

In the last few years, Mickey Mouse’s Steamboat Willie and Winnie-the-Pooh became part of the public domain and have found themselves being used in several Horror movies.

Coming soon, the two fictional characters are coming to life to kill people in The Dark Domain: MVW Mickey-Vs-Winnie.

Set in the 1920s, the plot kicks off with a disturbing narrative about two convicts who escape into a cursed forest, only to be swallowed by its dark essence. Fast forward a hundred years, and the story picks up with a group of thrill-seeking friends whose nature getaway goes horribly wrong. They accidentally venture into the same cursed woods, finding themselves face-to-face with the now monstrous versions of Mickey and Winnie. What follows is a night filled with terror, as these beloved characters mutate into horrifying adversaries, unleashing a frenzy of violence and bloodshed.

The film is written and directed by Emmy-nominated choreographer Glenn Douglas Packard.

Who do you think will make it to the credits: the mouse or the bear? Or do you think that they will become Wilnie or Winlie?

Jelly Roll is the new Cindy Crawford
March 10th, 2025 under Cindy Crawford, Jelly Roll, Ryan Reynolds. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 1992, Cindy Crawford shot a Pepsi commercial for the Super Bowl, and it is one of the most iconic ads of all time. In fact, she shot it two more times in 2002 and 2018.

That was then. Now, there is a new person wearing a white tank and short jean shorts, and her, I mean his name is Jelly Roll.

The Country singer recreated the ad for Zevia, which was produced by Ryan Reynold’s advertising company, Maximum Effort.

“Our strategy is to make the Zevia brand as anti-artificial as our products, and stand out by entertaining people while cutting through culture and the clutter of the category,” said Kirsten Suarez, Chief Marketing Officer of Zevia. “Jelly Roll was the perfect partner for this idea because not only is he a charming superstar with broad appeal, he is also so genuinely real, and open about his own personal health journey.”

They definitely made the right choice because no one does a mannequin pose better than Jelly Roll.

On that note. The commercial debuted during American Idol’s season premiere yesterday. Roll will be an Artist in Residence later this season.

Look it’s Jade, Beck and Trina from Victorious
March 10th, 2025 under Elizabeth Gillies. [ Comments: none ]

Elizabeth Gillies is one of the success stories from Hollywood Arts, so much so that she is starring in Little Shop of Horrors on Off-Broadway.

In honor of the musical’s opening night, her Victorious co-stars Avan Jogia and Daniella Monet came out to support her!

So, if you ever wondered if Jade and Beck’s relationship would have survived past high school, it looks like the answer is yes! That would make me happy because they were such a cute couple on the sitcom.

Gillies is not the only one who has something to promote. Jogie has a new book out, Autopsy (of an Ex-Teen Heartthrob), which is partially about his time on Victorious. When it comes to Monet, she might be returning to Hollywood Arts with her own spinoff.

BTW I wonder whatever happened to the actress who played Cat Valentine?
