Fox drowns Rescue: Hi-Surf
May 7th, 2025 under Fox. [ Comments: none ]

On Monday, Fox is going to announce their 2025-2026 season. Today, we found out that Rescue: Hi-Surf will not be on it.

The news is not a surprise. The Hawaiian lifeguard drama was supposed to air a special episode after the Super Bowl. However, they decided to scrap those plans. Once that was the case, the writing was on the wall.

Hopefully, that same writing is not on the wall for Joel McHale’s Animal Control.

The Studio was green lit for a second season
May 7th, 2025 under Seth Rogen. [ Comments: none ]

Seth Rogen has another hit on his hands with The Studio, so Apple TV+ is not going to let it go away. Therefore, they have picked it up for a second season.

“We’re thrilled to be making a second season of ‘The Studio.’ We’re looking forward to taking the lived experience of making season one and immediately putting it into season two, then repeating that loop for ten more seasons,” said creators and executive producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. “And, we’re excited to keep all our industry friends and colleagues guessing as to when one of their personal stories will stream on Apple TV+.”

Are you as excited as Rogen and Goldberg that it will be back to show off how dysfunctional Hollywood is?

BTWF: Matthew Perry on Highway to Heaven

Before Matthew Perry was in a car accident and died on Growing Pains, he survived one on Highway to Heaven. He gave such a touching performance when he was 19 in that 1988 episode.

Andy Cohen had a first on Watch What Happens Live
May 6th, 2025 under Andy Cohen. [ Comments: none ]

Andy Cohen has been hosting Watch What Happens Live since 2009, and he can still have firsts on the talk show.

While he was interviewing Connie Britton and my favorite Will, Will Forte, he accidentally dropped his drink on the floor. Believe it or not, that was the first time it had happened in 15 years.

Shockingly, it was a Cherry Coke with no alcohol.

What did he do? He picked up the ice as Britton kept talking, but she did offer to help!

So, watch what happens live because you never know what is going to happen!
