With all of the cost cutting going on in broadcast television, you never know who will be back the following season on the long-running shows. However, we do know who had signed to be part of One Chicago in the Fall.
According to Deadline, Chicago Med‘s S. Epatha Merkerson and Oliver Platt, Chicago Fire‘s Taylor Kinney and Miranda Rae Mayo, and Chicago P.D.’s Jason Beghe are not going anywhere. So that gives you a little spoiler on who survives after yesterday’s cliffhangers.
But with only five names mentioned, we’re left wondering who might not be returning to Chicago.
Who will leave you sad if they are not asked back? Because Chicago Fire definitely has a lot of characters’ lives in peril.
Now, NBC can surprise us and bring everyone back. But, sadly, I don’t think that is possible in this financial climate.

Have you ever been like, “I don’t know if I am in the mood for a Margarita or a Daiquiri?” Well, at Red Robin, you won’t have to make that decision. That is because they are serving up Freckled Strawberry Daiquiritas, a creative mashup of a margarita and daiquiri, featuring Espolòn Reposado Tequila, Bacardi® Superior Rum, strawberries, agave, and lime.
That is not the only new drink in honor of adding The Rock’s Teremana Reposado Tequila behind the bar. They are adding two more drinks to the list. The Watermelon Dragon Fruit Margarita is made with the tequila, Cointreau, agave, lime, dragon fruit, and watermelon purée, and it is topped off with Tajin around the rim. The other cocktail is the Jalapeño Heat Margarita, which comes with tequila, Cointreau, agave, lime, and jalapeño, and finished off with Tajín around the rim, and sweetened with passion fruit and mango.
There is one more alcoholic drink and it is the Captain Colada, which includes Smirnoff No. 21 Vodka, Captain Morgan® Spiced Rum, coconut, pineapple and a Myers’s Dark Rum float.
Finally, for those of you who don’t drink, the restaurant has something for you too. The Island Breeze Dirty Soda is a mix of Sprite, pineapple, and coconut, topped with cold foam and a cherry.
Which drinks are you going to try first when they become available, starting this Sunday the 18th? I can’t decide so I will have to go back a few times to have them all. I would do more than one drink, but tequila and I are not the best of friends.
