Before Kim Raver was all about Owen on Grey’s Anatomy, Alan Ruck was all about her. She looks the same now as she did when she was 28 in that 1997 episode?
Don’t know what to get your Harry Potter-loving friend for Christmas? Well, you give them an early gift. You can tell them that the HBO Max Harry Potter series will debut this Christmas.
The eight-episode first season will focus on the book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. There is nothing special about Harry Potter – at least that’s what his Aunt Petunia always says. On his 11th birthday, a letter of admittance to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry opens up a hidden world for Harry: one of fun, friendship, and magic. But with this new adventure comes great risk as Harry is forced to face a dangerous enemy from his past.
Even though my nieces love the book and the movies, I am not familiar with it. So I never realized how sad his life was before Hogwarts.
Grey’s Anatomy has been on for 22 seasons, so it is not a cheap show to produce. So one of the ways they are saving money is by cutting cast members from the show.
Today, we found out that two fan favorites will not be back next season, if there is another one. They are Kevin McKidd and Kim Raver, because Owen and Teddy’s story has come to a natural end, according to the series creator Shonda Rhimes.
“Over the years, we have had the privilege of watching Owen and Teddy’s love story evolve and deepen — two characters who always seem to find their way back to each other. It is both bittersweet and joyful to give this couple the happy ending their story deserves,” said Rhimes in a statement given to The Hollywood Reporter. “Kevin and Kim bring extraordinary talent, nuance and heart to their roles as Owen and Teddy. Their contributions leave an indelible mark on Grey’s Anatomy, both in front of and behind the camera. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with them both and to see them shine.”
McKidd, who has directed 48 episodes, will direct his and Raver’s swan song, aka the season finale.
The actor joined the medical drama in 2008, and she was added a season later. Are you going to miss them, or do you think it is time for them to move on? I am sad to see them go because they are such a big part of the show. But as long as Chandra Wilson and James Pickens, Jr. are still there, it is OK. But the second one of them leaves, it is time for Grey’s to flatline.
Drew Barrymore, Ross Matthews, and Valerie Bertinelli were all talking about sex dreams on her daytime talk show, and the Hot in Cleveland actress went there.
As in, she asked the host if she had ever had a sex dream where she climaxed. Well, at first, the woman who went on 50 First Dates answered the question honestly. But then, Matthews pointed out how brave Val is to open like that in front of everyone, as if it were no big deal.
Well, as soon as he said that, the women realized they were talking as though it was just them, and that is when Drew did a spit take, and Val turned bright red.
Personally, I love that they are so open like that. More women should feel comfortable to speak so freely about sex. We want it just as much as men. And I will be honest, the best conversations I have had about it were with other women at adult toy stores! For some reason, it felt like no big deal to talk about it, unlike when I am with other female friends. However, the men in my life have no problem discussing it so openly. Sorry for the tangent! But in the words of TLC, Let’s Talk About Sex!!!
Back to Bertinelli, when I was growing up, I wanted to be friends with her because she made Barbara Cooper seem so cool. And now hearing how open she is about everything, I want to be friends with her even more. The girl talk we could have would be so much fun!!!
