Sullivan’s Crossing has been airing on CTV and The CW for three seasons, but it found a whole new audience (like me) on Netflix.
So we have been anxiously waiting to find out what is going to happen next for Maggie (Morgan Kohan) and Cal (Chad Michael Murray) now that her husband, Liam (Marcus Rosner), whom we didn’t know about, has come back into her life.
Tonight’s season premiere at 8p on The CW takes place the next morning, and Cal has a lot of questions for Maggie about Liam. And she wants to know why he is back.
She thinks they are no longer married, but he tells her they are. Who is right? He will have to stick around to find out. That, and he is keeping a secret that he needs to talk to her about.
As much as Maggie doesn’t want to admit, she still has feelings for him. But then she also has feelings for Cal. What is she going to choose?
If that is enough, she has to run Sullivan’s Crossing because her dad has left to travel Europe with his girlfriend. Not only that, she is trying to become a practicing doctor in Canada because her license is from the United States. Oy!
Also, in the episode, Rafe (Dakota Taylor) and Syd (Lindura Sappong) make a decision about what is next for them. He asked her to marry him, and she said no. Is he willing to stay with her if they don’t get married?
Frank (Tom Jackson) is taking care of Edna (Andrea Menard), who is recuperating at home from brain surgery. He is being protective of her, and she is someone who does not do well just sitting around.
There is a reason why people love this series. It is just the amount of drama we can handle these days. Plus, it is just so endearing.
I don’t know about you, but I found Sullivan’s Crossing on Netflix and binged it in a week. However, in the United States, it airs on The CW first. And today, we found out when season 4 will premiere.
In the upcoming season, Maggie Sullivan’s (Morgan Kohan) life at the Crossing is finally taking shape having decided on a new direction for her career and a renewed commitment to Cal (Chad Michael Murray). That is, until Maggie’s ex-husband, Liam (Marcus Rosner), arrives with a shocking revelation which only upends Maggie’s life once again and causes Cal to question whether Maggie will ever truly be able to leave her past behind.
Will she? We will find out starting on April 20th. And I will be watching!
When Sullivan’s Crossing left off, we found out that Maggie had a husband before she had a fiancé in Boston and a boyfriend in Nova Scotia.
Now, we are getting a sneak peek of season 4, and it looks like Liam (Marcus Rosner) will be staying around, causing problems for Maggie (Morgan Kohan) and Cal (Chad Michael Murray).
Will the love triangle be the plot for the upcoming season? We will find out when it premieres on CTV and Crave this spring. Hopefully, it will be on The CW shortly after that.
And if you have missed out on the show’s first three seasons, you can watch all 30 episodes on Netflix. I know that is where I binged the series because once you start, you can’t stop!
Chad Michael Murray can act, and he can dance like a stripper, as we learned from The Merry Gentlemen. However, he is sadly not a triple threat.
The actor shared a video of himself singing Britney Spears’ Baby One More Time from Freakier Friday. And as much as I adore him, I think we know why this didn’t make the film’s final cut.
Do you think his singing is Toxic, or are you saying Gimme More?
Lindsay Lohan and Chad Michael Murray shared a kiss in Freaky Friday. Did you know that was her first onscreen kiss?
Since it was a stressful situation for the then-teenager, Jamie Lee Curtis, Murray, and the producers had a meeting to make it less stressful for her. So the Hollywood legacy, with three decades of experience at the time, told them to practice their kiss there and get it over with so that it would not be as nerve-racking when the director yelled, “Action.”
However, since she was about 16, she was still nervous to kiss the good-looking 21-year-old.
So, what were they going to do to make her more comfortable? Curtis turned to Murray and asked if he was good. Of course, he said yes. And then she put her lips on where he just said yes.
That broke the ice, and Lohan’s first kiss was not as stressful. And Murray’s dad is still jealous of his son to this day.
You can say that the three had a Freaky Friday moment because Curtis substituted for Lohan, or had Lohan already switched bodies with Curtis so that she could kiss her co-star in both bodies?
Murray learned a very important lesson in that moment. He told the Good Morning America anchors, “It set up me for a lot more comfortability working with her, working with everybody because you realized, ‘We’re just making a movie. Let’s go have some fun. And let’s not be so serious. Let’s have a riot.'”
Curtis hasn’t changed. Murray said that when all the actors went into the table read for Freakier Friday, the Oscar winner came up with a way to make it less confusing because there are four of them switching places in the sequel. What was it? She gave Lohan, Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, and herself hats, so that everyone knew who was who at that moment in the movie. It worked, and it made things a lot less confusing.
Janet Leigh did a great job preparing her daughter for Hollywood and acting, so that she could do the same for the next generations of actors. We need more actors like the late legend and her talented daughter.
One last note, I wouldn’t mind having the One Tree Hill star as my first onscreen kiss! Would you?
