BTS has a Dynamite Lego set
February 16th, 2023 under BTS, Lego. [ Comments: none ]

Seinfeld and Friends have been immortalized in Lego, and now BTS is joining them with a set based on their Dynamite music video.

This is excellent news for all of the BTS Army. While the boys are in the Korean military, they can play with their seven Lego figures and pretend the band is still together.

The 749-piece set includes a Disco, record store, donut shop, ice cream truck, basketball hoop, and palm trees.

So if this is something you must have, you can order it for $99 starting on March 1st.

Seinfeld gets the Lego treatment

Lego

Have you ever wished that you could hang out at Jerry Seinfeld’s apartment with him, Elaine, George, and Kramer? Now you can. That is because Lego is releasing a set of the sitcom’s set.

Not only do you get his apartment, but you get a stage where he can do his standup. They even pay homage to my favorite episode, the one where they get lost in a parking lot. How? Elaine comes with a goldfish in a bag. And no Seinfeld set is complete without Newman. So he is included in the mix.

It also includes a blue statue, muffin top, painting of Uncle Leo, Prognosis Negative videotape, Commando 8 air conditioner, and Festivus pole. The only thing missing is an Assman license plate, but you can make one.

For just $79.99, this is the perfect gift for anyone who is a fan of the show that is about nothing.

The one where the Lego Friends’ Apartments have lots of hidden gems!
May 11th, 2021 under Friends (cast), Lego. [ Comments: none ]

Lego already released the Central Perk set for much older kids to play with, and now the show’s fans have two more rooms to enjoy. That is because, on June 1st, you can own a box with Monica and Rachel, and Joey and Chandler’s apartments inside.

Not only do you get their abodes, but you also get the fun stuff that came in them, like the turkey hat that Monica wore and the long poking stick they used to check on the naked guy. All six Friends are included, along with Janice. However, is she just as much fun if you can’t hear her laughing? I don’t know. The only thing missing is Marcel. Too bad we didn’t Ross’ place on the show more, then we would have gotten our favorite monkey.

If you can live without him, then you can own the set for just $149. It is a must-own for friends of Friends.

Lego drops the mic on Seth Meyers’ Lego vs Legos debate
February 11th, 2021 under Lego, Seth Meyers. [ Comments: none ]

Have you ever wondered, is the plural of Lego, Legos or just Lego? I thought it was Legos, but when I did an internet search, I found out it is just Lego.

Seth Meyers called them Legos on Late Night, and fans corrected the NBC host. He responded by saying it is too late to teach him new things. Therefore, he will continue to call them Legos.

Well, Lego responded to all of us, and all of us are wrong. The plural is Lego Bricks. 🤯

I don’t know how to handle this new piece of information. It is a total gamechanger. I feel like I stepped on a bunch of Lego Bricks without anything covering my feet. In other words, I just need some alone time to soak it all in. Does someone have some Lego Bricks I can play with to make everything feel like it did before I knew this fact?

Of course, 2020 gives us a Star Wars Holiday Special
August 14th, 2020 under Disney+, Lego, Star Wars. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 1978, Star Wars got its own holiday special. It was so horrendous that people tried to bury it with E.T.: The Extra Terresterial Atari game. Therefore, you would think they would never attempt another one again.

Well, Disney+ says how much worse can 2020 get. Therefore, they are teaming up with Lego to do a Christmas special with Star Wars’ most loved characters.

Set after the events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Rey leaves her friends to prepare for Life Day as she embarks on a new adventure with BB-8 to gain a deeper knowledge of the Force. At a mysterious Jedi temple, Rey finds herself hurled into a cross-timeline adventure through beloved moments in Star Wars cinematic history, coming into contact with Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi and other iconic heroes and villains from all nine Skywalker saga films. But will she make it back in time for the Life Day feast and learn the true meaning of holiday spirit? You’ll have to watch to find out!

The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special will debut on November 17th.

On a positive note, Bea Arthur will not be part of this special. Maybe they can get Brad Garrett to play her part.
