CBS announced today that they picked up The Talk for a 15th season. That is the good news. The bad news is that it will be its final season.
“It goes without saying that hosting and producing a year-round talk show is no easy task, and we express our sincere gratitude to our amazing hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell, and Sheryl Underwood, our executive producer/showrunner Rob Crabbe and the hardworking producing team and crew. We also want to acknowledge our former show hosts and colleagues who contributed throughout the seasons,” Amy Reisenbach, President, CBS Entertainment, and David Stapf, President, CBS Studios said in a statement. We truly appreciate the skill, creativity, and dedication everyone involved brought to the show every day. And of course, we thank the numerous guests who appeared, and the millions of viewers who tuned in daily. For the final season, we plan to celebrate the show and give it the proper sendoff it deserves when it concludes in December 2024.”
It is expected to be replaced by the upcoming African-American Soap Opera, The Gates.
Are you going to miss it? I am going to miss seeing what funny things Jerry was going to do during each episode.
The Golden Bachelor was a massive ratings success, but Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist’s marriage is a failure.
The estranged couple announced this morning on Good Morning America they are dissolving their marriage after less than 100 days.
“Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations, and we’ve looked closely at our situation, our living situation, so forth. And we’ve kind of come to the conclusion mutually that it’s probably time for us to dissolve our marriage,” Turner told Juju Chang.
So what went wrong? Nist explained, “We looked at homes in South Carolina, we considered New Jersey, and we just looked at homes after homes, but we never got to the point where we made that decision.”
Even though they are getting a divorce, they say they still love each other. It was just that neither one of them wanted to pick up their lives for the other one.
Is anyone surprised that it didn’t work out? I was surprised they actually went through with the wedding. I knew it was never going to last.
I think he likes women he can control. She might give off submissive vibes, but she is from New Jersey, and there is only some much shit she will take. And he, being from mid-America, was not used to someone like that. At least, that is what I am assuming.
I don’t know about you, but I hate all bugs. I can watch any horror movie without any issues. But if you put a bug in there, my hands are over my eyes.
So, imagine me watching the trailer for Sting. Charlotte, 12, finds a little spider who gets bigger every time it eats. He goes from bugs to birds, and once he gets a taste of humans, he can’t get enough of us.
How will Charlotte, her family, and their neighbors defeat the monster spider? We will have to go see the film in theaters today to find out.
Seriously, I don’t plan on sleeping anytime soon. What about you?
