Bad Counselors looks like good campy fun!
May 21st, 2026 under Movies. [ Comments: none ]

As a kid, I loved watching movies about camps with bad counselors, whether it was a Horror movie or a Comedy. But they don’t seem to make those types of films anymore. However, this Summer, we are getting a new film with bad counselors: Bad Counselors.

Two frat bros must become church bros, fast. After one wild night ends in handcuffs and a campus police escort, two best friends are slapped with 120 hours of community service due in two weeks, or they’re expelled. Their genius plan? Pose as counselors at a local Christian youth camp, where every sing along, campfire devotional, and trust fall counts toward the clock. Just one problem (okay, three): they don’t like kids, they hate camping, and they have barely set foot in a church. Now they’ll have to learn the lingo, fake the faith, and hide the flask all while dodging suspicious pastors, prankster campers and the cutest co-ed counselors they’ve ever seen. Can two party boys lie their way to redemption? Or will their house of half-truths come crashing down before the closing bonfire? Either way, they’d better start praying for a hedge of protection.

The movie will be in theaters from July 22 until July 27th.

Fans of Emily in Paris got some sad news today. The series’ sixth season will be its last. Netflix announced the news on social media.

Executive producer Darren Star wrote, “Making Emily in Paris with this extraordinary cast and crew has been the trip of a lifetime. As we embark on the final season, I am so grateful to Netflix, Paramount, and, most importantly, the fans who have taken this incredible journey with us

“We can’t wait to share this last chapter with you. Thank you for letting us be a part of your lives, inspiring your dreams of travel and your love of Paris. We will always have Emily in Paris!”

According to Tudum, “The upcoming season will follow in the well-heeled footsteps of Season 5, which saw Emily (Lily Collins) take a bit of a Roman holiday. In Rome, she’s romanced by Italian cashmere heir Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini) — naturally! — before realizing her heart yearns for the home she built in Paris. Meanwhile, Emily’s best friend, Mindy, gets engaged to her own fashion designer beau, Nicolas de Léon (Paul Forman) — but has a spark with Alfie (Laviscount) that can’t seem to be extinguished.”

Are you sad to say au revoir to Emily?

The Late Show gifted us this epic photo

Yesterday was the second-to-last episode of The Late Show (because donald trump is such a little baby with a penis the size of a newborn), and Stephen Colbert switched things up. He asked his guests to interview him.

If you are going to be interviewed by so many great guests, you have to take a photo, and they did.

So the host posed with John Dickerson, Mark Hamill, Jim Gaffigan, Jeff Daniels, Tiffany Haddish, Evie Colbert, Amy Sedaris, Ben Stiller, Aubrey Plaza, James Taylor, Robert De Niro, Weird Al Yankovic, Billy Crystal, and Josh Brolin.

Imagine the movie they could make together? It would be the wittiest movie of the year.

King Charles III has had a shitty few days, literally and figuratively
May 21st, 2026 under British Royals. [ Comments: none ]

King Charles III probably woke up on Monday and thought this is going to be a great week! But it has turned out to be shitty.

His Royal Highness took a trip to Newcastle yesterday, and he was greeted by his subjects, those who walk and those who fly. One of the ones who fly decided to give the King some good luck, as in, a seagull shit on him.

Luckily, it landed on the back of his jacket, and as he told someone who told him about it, “At least it didn’t land on my head.”

While the British Monarch had a good sense of humor about that, I don’t think he will be laughing at the second bad thing that happened to him. Radio Caroline announced his death. However, he is still alive.

In the words of the 4 Non Blondes song that they cut off, “What’s going on?”
