Ted, the prequel to Seth MacFarlane’s movies, is one of Peacock’s most successful original series. So they almost immediately picked it up for a second season. But that was almost two years ago. Since then, there has been no word about when it would debut. Today, we finally got that answer.
It’s 1994, and senior year of high school is underway for Ted the foul-mouthed teddy bear and his best friend, likable but awkward John Bennett. Together they live in a working-class Boston home with John’s parents (Matty and Susan) and cousin (Blaire). Matty is a blustering, blue-collar Bostonian who sees himself as the unequivocal boss of the house and doesn’t like anyone challenging him, particularly his liberal-minded niece. Susan is kind, selfless, and almost pathologically sweet when it comes to caring for her family. Blaire is an outspoken college student who often finds herself at odds with her more traditional-minded relatives.
Executive producers, Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh, said, “We hope you enjoy these eight somewhat filthy, hopefully funny heartfelt episodes about a young man, his talking teddy bear, and their highly dysfunctional family. On the off-chance the series is not your cup of tea, a great way to get us back is to leave all the episodes playing to completion on multiple devices throughout the house. That’ll show us.”
Ted 2 will drop all eight episodes on March 5th. You don’t have to wait until then to show them. You can watch the highlarious first season on Peacock now. You will want to show them several times because it seriously should be illegal to be that funny!!!
If you say the numbers 6-7 to someone, they are going to laugh and then move their hands up and down. It is all in good fun. And with things the way they are now, we all can enjoy a little lighthearted fun like this!
However, there is one place that does not enjoy it, and that place is In-N-Out. Therefore, they pulled the number from their order callout list.
Teens have been showing up at the overrated hamburger joint, waiting for the number to be called, and then they would cheer when it was.
Well, I guess that In-N-Out doesn’t like joy in their restaurants, so they are no longer calling out 67. According to People, it now goes from 66 to 68.
To that, I say, 6-7, 6-7. 6-7. That, and your burgers suck! I have had your food six or seven times since I moved to LA, and I hated it the six, seven times I have had it.
So In-N-Out, stop being Scrooges and bring back 6-7!
Hugh Jackman was on The Howard Stern Show yesterday, and he asked the actor a question that very few people would.
What was it? The Shock Jock wanted to know if it is true that he pissed in his pants when he was playing Gaston in Beauty and the Beast early on his career in Australia.
The answer is yes, The Greatest Showman did that, and then he shared the story about what happened.
Jackman was suffering from headaches due to dehydration, and his doctor told him to drink two liters of water every day before 5p.
Since he was not much of a water drinker, he did not know the effect that would have on him. Those of us who do know exactly what was going to happen. And it did.
During the first number, he was singing, and he had to lift Belle up. When he did, he felt a little piss come out. He thought he was OK, but then he had to sing to an F-sharp. He had to make a choice: hit the note or pee on stage. He chose the latter.
After he was done relieving himself, he looked down and was relieved to see that his red stockings looked dry. However, his boots were soaked because that is where all of it wound up.
Well, that was until the pee finally started to show. Thankfully, he noticed it when he went backstage a few minutes later.
What is Jackman’s take from it? He said, “And you know, nothing can embarrass you after that.” That is very true!
Back in October, David Del Rio was fired from Matlock because he allegedly sexually assaulted his Matlock co-star, Leah Lewis.
There was an investigation conducted as soon as Lewis reported the alleged September incident on the Paramount lot, resulting in his immediate dismissal.
Neither actor has addressed the allegations publicly, but he has denied the allegations.
But today, TMZ is reporting that CBS reopened the case and has heard from several witnesses, including Del Rio, whose high-powered attorney was by his side.
Matlock resumed filming last week after a planned hiatus, which began shortly after the incident.
There have been reports that his character was written off of the series. But CBS has not said if that episode has been filmed yet.
