Natalie Maines met at a wedding, around 13 months later they had their own special day and 17 years and a few weeks after their nuptials she filed for divorce.
The former-couple did not release a joint statement, but her rep told People it is a “private family matter. They have two sons Jackson Slade, 16 and Beckett Finn, 12 and she is asking for joint custody.
No word was given for their split, but it is said to be amicable. Just like most Hollywood or Nashville divorces, we will find out soon enough if it really is amicable.
