A&E is premiering a new series, Lie Detector: Truth or Deception, on Thursday, and Gary Coleman’s ex-wife, Shannon Price, is the first subject to take a lie detector test.
In 2010, Coleman passed away after falling and hitting his head. Some people thought his death was suspicious, and his ex-wife was accused of causing him to fall—something she has been doing ever since.
Therefore, when A&E contacted her about doing the show, she agreed to do it.
Today, the network released the results of the questions about whether she is responsible for his fall, and according to George Olivo, a Former FBI agent, she lied to him when she told him no.
If A&E is sharing that before the episode airs, then you know there is going to be so much more happening that is more interesting. Tune in on Thursday at 9p to see what else is revealed.
In the coming weeks, the seven episodes will explore other gripping cases answering unresolved questions that continue to haunt those involved. Matheau Moore, acquitted in 2022 of murdering his wife Emily Noble, takes a polygraph in hopes of silencing persistent suspicions—even from those close to the case. Edward Ates, who spent 20 years in prison for the murder of a neighbor he insists he didn’t commit, seeks to clear his name once and for all. Jesse Holton, accused of killing his parents in 2016 but never tried due to lack of evidence, undergoes a high-stakes test to end the cloud of suspicion. In each case, the lie detector test is administered offering expert insight into whether the truth has finally come to light—or if new doubts will emerge.
